2015 Mission Cooperative Plan:
Missionary Fraternity of Mary
Fr. Fabian Rodas Aguilar will be speaking at all
Masses this weekend describing the work of, and
requesting support for, his society, the Missionary
Fraternity of Mary of Guatemala. Please welcome
Fr. Fabian and be as generous as you can in support of the work of the Fraternity through the second collection. Special envelopes are in the pews.

Parish Project to Restore the Stone Church
What’s the financial situation? We have received
the third quarterly payment from the Diocesan
Capital Campaign. During the week we received a
check for $39,354.00 from the diocese. The total
amount of cash in the restoration fund is now
$475,200.00. This amount is due to the generosity of
all who are making good on their pledges to the
parish Capital Campaign Grateful For Our Past,
Building Our Future. Thanks! We need approximately $820,000.00 in cash to start phase one of the reconstruction. This phase is to stabilize and make the
structure safe. A parish Building Committee has
been formed to assist the pastor with the project.
The members are Ed Ronchelli, Michael LaMark, Tim
Madura, Dan O’Rourke, and Dick Colombini. The
engineers and architect are now finishing the plans
and drawings to present to the city for review and
approval and to receive the necessary building
permits. Having this approval and the permits
means we will be ready to start the work as soon as
we have $820,000.00 (60% of what is needed to
complete phase one).

¿Cuál es la situación financiera? Hemos recibido el
tercer pago trimestral de la campaña de Capital diocesana. Durante la semana recibimos un cheque por
$39.354,00 de la diócesis. La cantidad total de dinero
en efectivo en el fondo de restauración ahora es
$475,200.00. Esta cantidad es debido a la generosidad
de todos los que están haciendo bien en sus promesas
a la parroquia Campaña Capital estamos agradecidos
por nuestro pasado, construyendo nuestro futuro. ¡
Gracias! Necesitamos aproximadamente $820,000.00
en efectivo para iniciar la primera fase de la reconstrucción. Esta fase es estabilizar y hacer que la estructura sea segura. Un Comité de construcción ha
sido formada para ayudar al párroco con el proyecto.

Excess Bounty?
Excess vegetables or fruit from your garden, can be
donated to our St. Vincent de Paul pantry located
behind the convent. Volunteers are there MondayFriday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Donations will be given to
those in need and are truly appreciated. Thank
you!

Exceso de verduras o frutas de su jardín, pueden ser
donados a nuestra despensa de St. Vincent de
Paul, ubicado detrás del convento. Voluntarios
están allí de lunes a viernes de 1:00-3:00 p.m. Las

Parish Maintenance Collection Next Weekend
All this money stays in the parish and will be used to
do various maintenance projects. The generosity of
the parishioners who give to these collections is very
much appreciated.

El próximo fin de semana todo el dinero de la segunda
colecta será para la parroquia y se utilizará para realizar varios proyectos de mantenimiento. La generosidad de los feligreses que dan a estas colecciones es

Annual Yard Sale Drop-off Date
The next drop-off date is Saturday, July 25th from
2:00-4:00 p.m. Bring saleable items that day to the
special truck in the church parking lot. Due to very
limited storage we are not able to accept larger
items at this time.
Entrega para la Venta de Yard Sale Anual
La próxima fecha de entrega es el sábado 25 de
Julio de 2:00-4:00 p.m. Traer artículos vendibles ese
día el carro especial estará en el estacionamiento
de la iglesia. Debido a un almacenamiento muy
limitado no somos capaces de aceptar artículos
más grandes en este momento.
Parish Commitment to Conserve Water
The parish plant is responding to the drought by reducing its use of water. The lawns are no longer being watered and we have reduced the amount of
water being used on the flowers, plants, bushes,
and trees. We ask all who use any of the church
buildings during this time to help with our conservation efforts. This applies to the use of the bathrooms
and the kitchen in the hall.
Inscripción para el curso 2015-2016 ya está cerrado.
Hemos alcanzado el número máximo de 600 estudiantes. Esto incluye el primer grado hasta secundaria. La
parroquia está esperando a algunos de los estudiantes
en los programas de segundo año que volvan a registrarse. Sus lugares se guardaran hasta el 1 de Agosto.

Compromiso de parroquia para conservar agua
La planta de la parroquia responde a la sequía reduciendo su uso de agua. Ya no se está regando el césped
y hemos reducido la cantidad de agua que se utiliza en
las flores, plantas, arbustos y árboles. Pedimos a todos
que utilizan cualquiera de los edificios de la iglesia
durante este tiempo que por favor ayuden con nuestros esfuerzos de conservación. Esto se aplica al uso de
los baños y la cocina en el salón.

Noticias del Catecismo
Registration for the 2015-2016 school year is now
closed. We have reached the maximum number of
600 students. This includes first grade through high
school. The parish is waiting for some of the students
in the second-year programs to re-register. Their
places will be held until August 1st. Those in the second year program who have not re-registered by
August 1 will have their places assigned to students
on the waiting list.
Religious Education Congress 2015
On Saturday, August 15th, the Diocese of Santa Rosa will present a day of prayer and fellowship for all
adults in the Diocese. The event will be held at Cardinal Newman High School. The theme is “Living
Joyfully with Christ”. The day begins at 9:00 a.m.
with Holy Mass by Bishop Robert F. Vasa. Different
workshops and speakers will be presented at Centers, throughout the day. This day is designed to
bring spiritual nourishment to all adults in the Diocese. Registration is $25. For more information, or to

Congreso de Educación Religiosa
El sábado, 15 de Agosto, la diócesis de Santa Rosa
presenta un día de oración y compañerismo para todos
los adultos en la diócesis. El evento se realizará en la
escuela secundaria Cardenal Newman. El tema es
"Vivir con alegría con Cristo". El día comienza a las
9:00 con la Misa por el Obispo Robert F. Vasa. Altavoces y diferentes talleres se presentarán en los centros,
durante todo el día. Este día está diseñado para llevar
