Producer/Engineer/Pianist, Freelance, Throughout New England Region, 1997-Current
Produce and record local New England talent. Operate live sound equipment for concerts in venues. Perform with
various Latin bands and artists in New England and New York. Teach music and recording technology courses in
Boston, Holyoke and Brockton MA, Hartford, CT., Providence, RI.
Consultant/Program Developer, Roxbury Community College, Boston, MA, 2004-2005
Conceptualized an Audio Recording Technician program integrating internal resources and creating partnerships
with local artists and students. Artists would receive recordings and promotional materials while students would
gain experience. Also developed marketing strategies to promote the program.
Assistant Production, WGBH, Boston, MA, 2003-2004
Worked with “Music and Words” program, which integrates music and literature into curriculum based activities.
The culmination of each project is a student-produced radio program. Served as liaison to teachers and the Arts
Department of Boston Public Schools.

Expanded local artists roster. Negotiated recording contracts. Executed innovative marketing approaches and
developed new distribution channels.
Assistant Director/Audio Engineer, Presentation Services, Boston, MA 1999-2001
Generated $ 1,000,000 in sales, representing more than 2/3 of total revenue. Improved productivity and increased
savings by 20% by redesigning work flow. Produced corporate shows in Boston’s major convention centers and
hotels. Negotiated terms with vendors and service providers.
Manager/Chief Engineer, ALO Recording Studios, Cali, Colombia, 1993-1997
Managed both studio operations and the in-house production company, Pacific Sound. Produced Native Folklore,
Salsa and Afro-Caribbean music. Increased total billed hours from 100 to over 300 per month. Planned and oversaw
travel, logistics and promotions, including photo shoots, press releases, TV and live appearances. Hired and trained
personnel. Developed and managed construction, purchasing and recording budgets up to 400K.
Professor, Javeriana University, Bogotá, Colombia, 1990-1992
Developed courses on the history of Afro-Caribbean music, Jazz Harmony and Improvisation. Taught Salsa and
Afro-Caribbean music; the basics of "clave" and Latin rhythms. Designed a course book that provided students with
exercises that re-enforced the lesson plan. Directed instrumental ensembles. Developed the leadership and
organizational skills of individual bandleaders.
