In fulfilment of the provisions of Royal Legislative Decree 6/2004 of 29 October 2004, approving the recast text of
the Private Insurance Regulation and Supervision Act and the Regulation thereof, approved by Royal Decree 2486/1998
of 20 November 1998, the Insurer advises as follows:
1. This insurance contract is entered into under the right of establishment scheme by the Spanish branch of the British
insurance company ACE EUROPEAN GROUP LIMITED, domiciled at ACE Building, 100 Leadenhall Street, London, United Kingdom.
ACE EUROPEAN GROUP LIMITED, SUCURSAL EN ESPAÑA is duly registered in the Administrative Registry of Insurance
Entities of the Directorate General for Insurance and Pension Funds under number E0155 and has its domicile at Calle
Francisco Gervás 13, 28020 Madrid.
2. Without prejudice to the authority of the Directorate General for Insurance and Pension Funds, the Member State
having supervision of the Insurance Company is the United Kingdom, and within that State the Authority having that
supervision is the Financial Services Authority (FSA, domiciled at 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS.
3. The legislation applicable to this insurance contract will be Insurance Contract Act 50/1980 of 8 October 1980, Royal
Legislative Decree 6/2004 on Private Insurance Regulation and Supervision and the Regulation thereof, and Act 30/1995 of
8 November 1995 (to the extent applicable and in force).
Liquidation of ACE EUROPEAN GROUP LIMITED, SUCURSAL EN ESPAÑA is subject to British law. The competent authority in the
event of liquidation of the company in the United Kingdom is the "Financial Services Compensation Scheme", which in turn
acts as a guarantee fund.
The Operating Rules of the Customer Service Department are available to customers at the offices of "Ace European Group
Limited, Sucursal en España".
If your claim must be handled by the Ombudsman for the Protection of Insureds of ACE European Group Limited Sucursal en
