However, pastor Lorenzo and our Hispanic members are hosting a New Year’s watch from 6:00PM to Midnight in the Family Life Center LOFT. December is a very special month in the life of Christians everywhere. We recognize a major historical transition in God’s relationship to all mankind and in turn the kind of transition God expects his people to make toward our fellowman. Christmas calls us back to grounding our lives in the reality that God chooses To Be “with us,” “even to the end of the world.” The Bible readings of the New Testament begin with the stories of God’s advent in Jesus; Emmanuel. The family of Jeanette Kalkines wishes to express their sincere thanks to the members of Terry Parker Baptist Church. “Our mother joined God on November 25, 2014 and there was a beautiful ceremony celebrating her life on November 29th. She was a member of Terry Parker Baptist Church for more than 50 years and was very much an extension of her family life. She met and enjoyed the company of her most endearing lifelong friends among the members of Terry Parker Baptist Church. She is missed very much and we appreciate the love and support we have received from her church family.” Pastor Lorenzo Lucas: 2: 8-20.
