Our faith is a treasure that we preserve with gratitude,
guard with vigilance and share with generosity.
On this Catechetical Sunday,
we pray for the young people
of our parish who continue to
grow in wisdom, age and grace
before our eyes. We pray as well
for their catechists and all who
generously serve as leaders in our
faith formation programs. And we
pray for all parents who at their
children’s baptisms promised to be
the first teachers of their children
in the ways of our faith.

variety of resources that includes books, movies, Bible
studies and other faith formation programs that foster a
growth in faith and the ability to share this treasure.

Giving money to support the Church and
other charity is a pillar of our Faith, just
like attending Mass every Sunday and
participating in parish ministry. Giving money
frees us from being a slave to money and
increases our dependence on God and to trust
that He will provide all that we need.

Catechetical Sunday is a wonderful opportunity to reflect
on the role that each person plays, by virtue of Baptism,
in handing on the faith and being a witness to the Gospel.
Catechetical Sunday is an opportunity for all of us to
rededicate ourselves to this mission as a community of
faith. Our volunteers in the Faith Formation program will
receive a special blessing at Masses this weekend.

a particular Mass time on a rotating schedule:
• Saturday, 5pm - Rotate weekly; serve once a month.

alternating weeks per month.
• Sunday, 9am and 10:30am - Teams rotate on
alternate months.
