CAMP is a federally funded program designed to provide an opportunity for students of migrant families to attend college. Tri-State CAMP (College Assistance Migrant Program) recruits students from Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. CAMP provides financial assistance and other individualized services to qualified students. The goal of CAMP is to help students succeed in completing their first year of college. A student is eligible for CAMP if you meet one of the following criteria: You, your parent(s) or guardian (s) have engaged in migrant or seasonal farm work for at least 75 days within the last 24 months; or, You have been eligible for the Title 1C Migrant Education Program; or, You have qualified for the National Farmworker Jobs Program [NFJP] (Workforce Investment Act [WIA] 167). AND Must have a high school diploma or GED; and Must be either a United States citizen or a qualified resident alien eligible for federal public benefits. The 2011- 2012 grant award is $424,532. Tri-State CAMP (College Assistance Migrant Program) enrola los estudiantes de Kansas, Oklahoma y Arkansas.
