Sunday Mass Schedule Change
Effective the first weekend of December the Sunday
Mass schedule will change with a second mass added
to the schedule at the satellite location. Masses at
Purefoy Elementary School will be at 9:30 AM and
11:30 AM effective December 4. Masses at the church
location will remain at the same times. With this
additional mass Holy Cross will have 6 masses
available each weekend.
Comenzando el primer fin de semana de diciembre, el
horario de la Misa del Domingo va a cambiar con una
segunda Misa que se va a agregar en nuestra locación
satélite. Las Misas en la Escuela Primaria Purefoy
serán a las 9:30 AM y 11:30 AM a partir del 4 de

Baptisms / Bautizos
Baptismal Preparation Classes are held quarterly
(Jan., Apr., Jul., & Oct.). For more information, please
call the church office.

Marriages / Matrimonios
Marriage Preparation Classes are held quarterly
(March 15, June 21, September 20 & December 20 of
2011). Couples planning on getting married should
attend a preparation class at least 9 months prior to
their projected wedding date.
Las Clases de Preparación Matrimonial se llevan a
cabo trimestralmente (Marzo 15, Junio 21,
Septiembre 20, & Diciembre 20 del 2011). Las
Parejas que planean casarse deberán asistir a un
programa de preparación matrimonial 9 meses antes

Religious Education Reminder:

Any child who will receive First Communion in May of
2012 or the following year, need to sign in at Mass
every week. The binders (sign in sheets) are in the
cafeteria.

Youth Ministry / Ministerio Juvenil
1. There is no Sunday Night ROCK on 11/27 due to
Thanksgiving Break.
2. Confirmation Discernment Session #5 is
Wednesday, 11/30 at 7:00pm in the in the cafeteria.
3. The last two Sunday Night ROCK’s of the year are
12/4 & 12/11.

All youth and their families are invited to a
service project of singing Christmas carols at Prairie
Estates Nursing Home on 12/13, get details at Sunday
Night ROCK next week.
1. No hay Noche de Domingo ROCK el 11/27 debido al
descanso de Thanksgiving.

and 11 at 7:30p.m.; Dec. 8 will be at 8:30p.m.
Refreshments will be served in the cafeteria following
the Rosary.

Quilt Ministry
WANTED: The Quilt Ministry is in need of a lightweight, portable sewing machine in good working
order. Our ministry is growing but not everyone has
their own machine. We would like to keep an extra
machine at church for quilting days. Contact Kim at

Knights of Columbus Fish Fry / Pescado

Knights of Columbus Council 8493 is having a fish fry
on Friday, December 2 at 5:30p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the
Holy Cross Cafeteria. Adults $8.00, Children under 12
and Seniors $6.00. A ProLife Rosary will also be held
thereafter at 7:30 P.M. in Church Sanctuary. Please
come and join us in fellowship and prayer.

The CCA Giving Tree will be located in the cafeteria
starting December 3. You are invited to take one or
more tags from the tree and purchase the item listed
for children who may not have a Christmas otherwise.
Please return your purchased gifts to Holy Cross no
later than December 17. Thank you for your generous
spirit that will benefit more than 3000 children during
this blessed holiday season.

A digital mobile mammography unit sponsored by
Texas Health Resources and Moncrief Cancer
Institute/UT Southwestern will be parked in the church
parking lot.

schedule your breast screening appointment. Women
with health insurance or Medicare are also
encouraged to call for an appointment.
