Order forms are available at the front desk. Students
must be in uniform for their school picture.

Grade Weighting
To help facilitate the transition to
middle school, DSST weights the
trimesters unevenly in 6th grade. Often,
some students find the new workload,
changing expectations, and greater
accountability challenging. The
trimesters will be weighted in the
following manner:
 Tri 1: 20%
 Tri 2: 35%
 Tri 3: 45%
7th and 8th grade will have evenly
weighted trimesters.
Please discuss this with your student’s
advisor if you have further questions.

Our Flight of the Falcons Direct Give Campaign finished last
week. We were able to raise $42,790 together and met our
goal. We want to thank all families who were able to give to the
campaign. The funds raised will go to supporting the new and
existing extracurricular activities and athletics at DSST: Byers and
will benefit all students.

MOVEMBER IS BACK! Every November, the
students of DSST: Byers raise money for a
charitable cause. Students are voting this
week on what cause our school community
will be supporting. More information will be coming home soon next
week about the selected cause, and how you can contribute, too!

Nuestro vuelo de la campaña de dar directo de halcones finalizó la
semana pasada. Fueron capaces de recaudar $42.790 juntos y
había cumplido nuestra meta. Queremos agradecer a todas las
familias que fueron capaces de dar a la campaña. Los fondos
recaudados se destinarán a apoyar las actividades
extracurriculares nuevas y existentes y atletismo en DSST: Byers y
beneficiará a todos los estudiantes.
