Just in time for the election, Childsplay presents Rock
the Presidents, a high-octane, multi-media-filled musical
revue spanning 223 years of the American presidency –
from George Washington to Barack Obama. With rock
concert music and a super fun history lesson, this nonpartisan musical explores what it really takes to be our
nation’s president. You’ll be clapping and cheering as
you ponder the question, “Are you a president-to-be?”
Audiences young and old alike will learn something new
about our presidents, while perhaps seeing something
of themselves reflected in the stories on stage.
Ask your child to recall the play. What was it about? Who
were the characters? What do you remember about the music? Which president would you like to learn more about?
Ask your child to describe the costumes, scenery and projections. How did the costumes help define the characters?
How did the scenery and projections help to tell the story?
Ask your child to tell you about some of the unique pets
that lived in the White House.
Ask your parents: who was the first presidential candidate
you voted for and why? What did it feel like to go to the
voting polls?

Justo a tiempo para la elección, Childsplay presenta
ROCANROLEA A LOS PRESIDENTES, una revista musical
multimedia de alto octanaje que abarca 223 años de la
presidencia Americana- desde George Washington hasta
Barack Obama. Con música de concierto de rock y una
lección de historia super divertida, este musical explora,
de manera no partidista, lo que deberas se requiere para
ser president de nuestra nación. Aplaudirás y aclamaras
mientras te preguntas, “¿Serás tu un día presidente?”Audiencias de todas las edades aprenderán algo
nuevo acerca de nuestros presidentes, y tal vez vean algo
reflexionado de si mismos en las historias presentadas en
el escenario.
Pidale a su niño/a que recuerde la obra. ¿De que
se trato? ¿Quienes fueron los personajes? ¿Que
recuerdas de la musica? ¿De cual presidente te gustaría aprender mas?
Pidale a su niño/a que describa los disfraces, la
escenografía y la proyecciones. ¿Como ayudaros los

votaste la primera vez y porque? ¿Como te sentiste
