Smashing Pumpkins

Don’t let your pumpkins go into the landfill, put the nutrients back into the
ground – the fun way! Have fun rolling your pumpkins down the hill, then
you can have fun smashing them into fresh compost. If you can’t attend,
drop your pumpkins off at the Deer Grove Leisure Center before Friday,
November 4 and we will add them to our compost collection. Pumpkins need
to be free of decorations, stickers, yarn and candles. Acrylic paint only.

In this dynamic program, kids learn the basics of drawing and
cartooning in a peer-driven, positive environment. With an
emphasis on drawing the human figure in the style of “manga,” students
will explore a variety of media as they practice their skills and learn new
techniques and creative concepts.

about the latest fashion trends and how to draw the fashion figure
and gorgeous faces using a variety of media. Class discussion will include the
“myth of universal beauty” to support girls’ self-esteem.

Days Off School Care The Bensenville Park District offers care for children on school holidays,
institute days and in service days. Please bring a sack lunch and a beverage
each day. A breakfast and afternoon snack will be provided. BPD Club
participants pay only $19 per day.
