ROPA DE PROTECCIÓN ANTIESTÁTICA EN 1149-5
La Norma EN-1149-5 especifica los requisitos electrostáticos y de diseño que debe
tener la ropa de protección antiestática, para evitar la formación de chispas que puedan
provocar un incendio. Los requisitos pueden no ser suficientes en atmósferas
enriquecidas con oxígeno. Esta norma no es aplicable frente a tensiones eléctricas.
ELECTROSTATIC CLOTHING PROPERTIES. EN 1149-5
The Standard EN-1149-5 specifies a set of requirements and test methods to measure
protection against static electricity or change decay. Electrostatic resistance is required
when the worker is exposed to environments where a spark could cause explosions or
ignite fires (e.g. petrol stations, petrol tanker drivers, flour mills, rooms storing cleaning
products, etc). Garments according to this Standard do not offer protection from mains
voltages.

Las prendas certificadas bajo la norma europea EN 11612, han sido diseñadas para
resistir el contacto con una llama así como pequeñas salpicaduras de metal fundido. La
colección cuenta con un amplio surtido de prendas ignífugas, todas ellas certificadas,
para atender las más diverssas necesidades. La ropa de protección que cumple con
esta normativa está diseñada para aumentar la seguridad de aquellas personas
expuestas a riesgo de contacto con calor o con una llama. Esta normativa especifica las
propiedades que debe poseer la prenda para proteger al trabajador expuesto al riesgo
de contacto con una llama limitada, calor radiante, calor convectivo o pequeñas
salpicaduras de metal.

This garments complies with the European Standard EN 11612. Designed to resist limited flame spread as well as molten metal
splashes. The collection includes an extensive range of flame retardant garments to cover your needs.
The Standard enhances the safety of persons risking contact with heat or flames. It specifies minimum performance requirement for
protective clothing which can be worn for a wide range of end uses, where there is a need for clothing with limited flame spread
properties and where the user can be exposed to radiant heat, convective heat or to molten metal splashes.

La ropa de protección que cumple esta norma está pensada para proteger a los trabajadores expuestos a riesgos de un arco eléctrico.
Las prendas protegen al trabajador de los diferentes daños derivados de la exposición del mismo a este tipo de riesgo.

This Standard specifies test and classification for materials and clothing to be worn when at risk of exposure to an electrical arc. An arc
flash occurs when there is a short circuit through the air across conductors. Such a flash will result in numerous hazards.

la ropa de protección que cumple esta norma está diseñada para proteger al usuario contra las pequeñas proyecciones de metal
fundido, el breve contacto con una llama y contra el calor radiante. Los distintos requerimientos de esta norma incluyen: características
de diseño, comportamiento general de la prenda, estabilidad dimensional, contacto limitado con una llama y protección frente a
pequeñas proyecciones de metal o metal fundido.
WELDING. EN ISO 11611
Protective clothing for use in welding and allied processes. This Standard specifies performance requirements for protective clothing
worn during welding operations to protect the wearer from molten metal splash, short accidental contact time with flames and UV
radiation. The performance requirements for clothing conforming to this Standard include: design requirements, general performance
requirements including tensile and tear strength, dimensional stability, flame spread, protection against small droplets of molten metal.
