HAITI SCHOOL AID: Will you sponsor a child in Haiti to attend school? The donation is $50 for the school year. Names and pictures of the children are available. Please see Lenore Trapanese after the 8:30 a.m. Mass. You can also give your name to Mary Elaine
after the 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Patrick or Awilda Rolon after the 10:00 Mass at Assumption/All Saints.
ADOPT-A-FAMILY FOR CHRISTMAS: There are 8 families from the Dr. Lena Edwards Charter School, who are really struggling
after the recent storms. If you would consider helping a family, please call Pat West at the school 201-433-5300 for more information.
CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON: For those in need, on Saturday, December 22. Beginning at noon in the school cafeteria, 509 Bramhall
Avenue. Donations of cooked food and toys are needed. Last year we served a hot meal to 350 persons and each child present received a
gift. Our parishioners are always very generous in their response and support of this event. Please sign up and let us know how you can help!

WEEKLY NOVENA: To Our Perpetual help are recited every Wednesday at 7 p.m. in St. Patrick’s Chapel.
ALTAR SOCIETY: We are in need of volunteers to wash, iron and fold the small linens used during Mass (Corporals and purificators). If interested, please speak to Arlene Kopik or Cheryl Dawkins, after the 10:00 a.m. Mass. Or Maritza Soza after the 11:30 a.m.
Mass to be instructed on how to fold the linens and to be added to the biweekly schedule.

DECEMBER 16 – 3rd SUNDAY OF ADVENT
Lord, our God, we praise You for Your Son, Jesus Christ, for He is Emmanuel, the Hope of all people.
He is the Wisdom that teaches and guides us. He is the Savior of us all. O Lord, let your blessing come
upon us as we light two (purple) candles and the third (pink) of this wreath. May the wreath and its light
be a sign of Christ's promise of salvation. May He come quickly and not delay. We ask this in His holy
name. Amen.
