LECTURE DEMONSTRATIONS
Explore the history of Mariachi music as
well as what it means to be a Mariachi
musician. Includes instrument demonstra­
tions and ­performances of songs, demonstrating ­
regional differences as well as special
­techniques unique to Mariachi music. Lecture/­
Demonstrations can be tailored to the specific
age and education level of the students – from
elementary school to university students to
adult audiences.
Note: All education and outreach activities
are available either in English or Spanish.
