Even now, says the Lord, return to Me with your whole heart
for I am gracious and merciful.
Todavía es tiempo, dice el Señor. Arrepiéntanse de todo
corazón y vuélvanse a mí, que soy compasivo y
misericordioso.
Nawróćcie się do Boga waszego, On bowiem jest łaskawy í

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We will begin Holy Week this coming Sunday with the celebration of
Palm Sunday. It is on this day we remember Jesus’ entrance into
Jerusalem as He completes His mission of our Salvation through His
suffering, death and resurrection.

During this Jubilee Year of Mercy, throughout the United States, there has
been celebrations of a DAY OF MERCY AND FORGIVENESS.
What a great way to prepare for Holy Week!
At St. Turibius we will celebrate this DAY OF MERCY AND
FORGIVENESS on March 18, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Our
celebration will be to have priests available to hear confessions during this
time. It is also a time for you to stop, pray and reflect on the Mercy you have
received from God. It can also be a time for you to ask for the grace to be
able to extend mercy to someone who needs it. There will be a hour
celebrated with our Youth Group beginning around 7:00 pm.

May I encourage those who have not yet filled out one of our Mercy Cards
that are next to the cross in Church or can be found through our Parish App
or on our Web Page to do so. This act is a way we, as a Parish, can
appreciate the Mercy of God shown to us through others and how we have
been able to be instruments of God’s Mercy in the world.

Mercy means extending God's love for us to others, even those who have
wronged us. Sometimes this is a small hurt; someone cut you off in traffic
or ate your leftovers without asking. But sometimes, there are big hurts that
may be hard to forgive: spreading an especially terrible rumor of gossip or
an offense against the dignity of a human person. Forgiveness is not easy,
but a necessary step in helping us get in a right relationship with God, others
and ourselves. Reach out to someone that you need to forgive and that may
need your forgiveness. Try your hardest to authentically extend mercy and
forgiveness to them. They may not be ready to accept it, but make the effort
so you know you have tried to extend God's love to others. Who knows, you
may end up receiving that same love and mercy in return!

Zjednoczonych nastąpił obchody dniu miłosierdzia i przebaczenia.
stronie internetowej, aby to zrobić. Akt ten to sposób my, jako parafia,
Czasami jest to mały ból; ktoś odrywa Was
relacji z Bogiem, innych i siebie.
rozszerzyć Bożą miłość do innych. Kto wie, może skończyć się otrzymania
tej samej miłości i miłosierdzia w zamian!

Question of the Week
Jesus offered pardon unconditionally and graciously
to the woman accused of adultery and to me. To whom
can I offer this unconditional and gracious pardon?
Year of Mercy
When I have been merciful......When I have experienced mercy......
Cuando he sido misericordioso.....Cuando he experimentado la misericordia.....
Kiedy doświadczyłem miłosierdzia.....Kiedy wyświadczyłem innym miłosierdzie.....
I have sharing Mercy helping others. I received Mercy, when I finally was able to confess myself after many years
of being scared to confess.

Penitential Act
I confess to almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have
greatly sinned, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what
I have failed to do, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous
fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin, all the Angels an Saints, and you,
my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.
May almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to
everlasting life. AMEN

Parish Mission Statement
We Believe that God is Love, and when we
live in love we live in God and God lives in
us! Therefore we, the Parish Family of Saint
Turibius, dedicate ourselves to living out
Christ’s Great Commandment: we will love
the Lord our God with all our heart, with all
our soul, with all our mind, and with all our
strength, and we will show our love for God
by the way we love and care for one another.
To this end, we will respond to our baptismal
call, strengthened by the life, death and
resurrection of Jesus Christ and empowered by
the Holy Spirit. As a Family of Faith that has
an Attitude of Gratitude for the gifts God has
given to us, we will share our time, our talent
and our treasure with each other. We welcome
into our parish family all people, because we
believe that together we are the Body of Christ
and together we can bring the love, peace,
forgiveness, healing, and joy of Christ into our
community in ways we never could have if we
were to remain apart. May all who meet us,
who worship with us, who work and play with
us, know we are Christians by our love!
