Dear Member/Parent/Caregiver:
We have important news to tell you about how to get HIV anti-retroviral drugs for members
living with HIV/AIDS. Starting on April 30, 2016, you may get your HIV medications from any
pharmacy that fills DC Medicaid prescriptions.
DC Medicaid and HSCSN (your managed care plan) have worked together to make this change
take place smoothly. We are excited to be able to provide even more pharmacies for all Medicaid
beneficiaries living with HIV/AIDS to get their HIV medications.
Remember that you may continue to fill all other prescriptions at any of your managed care plan
pharmacy provider locations, just as you do now. Call our Customer Care Service Department at
(202) 467-2737, for more information about this important change in the way you get your HIV
medications.

Tenemos importantes noticias sobre cómo obtener los fármacos antirretrovirales para el VIH
para aquellos miembros que viven con VIH/SIDA. A partir del 30 de abril de 2016, usted podrá
obtener sus medicamentos para el VIH en cualquier farmacia que dispense medicamentos
recetados del DC Medicaid.
DC Medicaid y HSCSN (su plan de atención administrada) han colaborado para lograr que este
cambio se diera sin tropiezos. Nos complace mucho poder ofrecer aún más farmacias para que
todos los beneficiarios de Medicaid que viven con VIH/SIDA puedan obtener sus medicamentos
