SYNOPSIS DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT (extract in spannish) After the death of his father, Eliecer, an old, inveterate lonely piper man that lives in a coastal town, has to take care of his little stepsister, Esperanza, against his will, while dealing with the task of taking her to her mother, who left her when she was a newborn to live in the city. The journey without money is tough, and it is even tougher for the mother to take the little girl in. Eliecer’s decision leads him to face the possibility of rediscovering the home and family they both had lost.
