Holiday Schedule
Residents can attend the meetings
at City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd., or
view them live on Irving Community
Television Network (Channel 95 –
Time Warner or Channel 31 – Verizon).
Webcasts also are available on the
Internet at www.cityofirving.org or
www.ictn.tv. Meetings are subject
to change. Call the City Secretary’s
Office at (972) 721-2493 to confirm a
meeting date.
All offices and services will resume
normal business hours on Jan. 2.
Online Payment
In observance of New Year’s Day,
there will be no residential trash,
curbside recycling or brush collection
on Jan 1. In addition, the following will
be closed:
• City Hall
• Hunter Ferrell Landfill
• Irving Arts Center
• Libraries
• Recreation and aquatic centers
• Recycling centers
City Council
Meeting Schedule
The City Council has scheduled its
meetings for 2010. All meetings begin
at 7 p.m. The following are the City
Council meeting dates:
• Jan. 14
• Feb. 4 and 18
• Mar. 4
• April 1, 15 and 29
• May 13 and 27
• June 10 and 24
• July 8 and 22
• Aug. 5
• Sept. 9 and 23
• Oct. 7 and 21
• Nov. 11
• Dec. 9
Utility customers can make
payments online 24/7 using Discover,
MasterCard, Visa and ACH check.
To use this free service, customers
will need their account number
(provided on monthly statements),
personal identification number
(PIN) and Internet access. Go to
www.cityofirving.org, locate the
“Water Bill” link and follow the
prompts. Customers who need a
pin may contact Customer Service
at (972) 721-2411. Online payments
generally take two bank business
days to be credited to accounts.
Recycling Centers
The city offers two attended dropoff recycling centers located at 3000
Rock Island Road in South Irving and
at 8555 Home Depot Drive in North
Irving. The third center, previously
located at O’Connor Road and State
Highway 183, has been closed. For
a list of acceptable materials visit
www.cityofirving.org/begreen. Select
“Recycle” then select “Drop-off
recycling centers.” Hours are from
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Thursday
and Friday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday
and Sunday. Both centers are closed
Tuesday and Wednesday and for most
city holidays. Call (972) 721-8059.

Horario de Días Festivos
Debido a la celebración del Día
de Año Nuevo, el día 1 de enero
no se llevará a cabo el servicio de
recolección de basura residencial,

Pagos a Través del Internet
Clientes de Servicos de Utilidad
Básicos pueden hacer sus pagos
a través del Internet 24 horas al
día, 7 días a la semana utilizando
las tarjetas de crédito Discover,
Master Card,Visa y cheques ACH.
Para poder utilizar estos servicios
gratis, los clientes necesitarán su
número de cuenta (proveído en su
factura mensual), una contraseña
(PIN = personal identificación
number), y acceso al Internet. Vaya a la dirección del Internet
www.cityofirving.org, localice el
enlace llamado “Water Bill” y siga
las instrucciones. Todo cliente
que necesite establecer una
contraseña debe comunicarse con el
departamento de Servicios al Cliente
al (972) 721-2411. Generalmente los
pagos electrónicos toman cerca de
dos días útiles para ser acreditados a
su cuenta.
Centros de Reciclaje
La ciudad ofrece dos centros para
recibir materiales reciclables, los
