In BCDQ Cultural Foundation (BCF) we understand that life constraints can seriously limit
participation in extracurricular activities. To facilitate contact with the arts and extend the
benefits they can bring to all of us we have created the BCF Educational Fund.
Every time you participate in our programs, buy tickets to events, or donate to BCF, 10%
of net proceeds (or donations, unless you specify otherwise) are automatically added to
this fund to give a person in our community who otherwise couldn’t, the opportunity to
participate in our programs for free.

En la Fundación Cultural BCDQ (BCF) entendemos que hay complicaciones en nuestras
vidas que pueden limitar seriamente la participación en actividades extracurriculares. A fin
de facilitar el contacto con el arte y extender los beneficios que esta puede aportar a todos
nosotros, hemos creado el Fondo Educativo BCF.
Cada vez que Ud. participa en nuestros programas, compra boletos para los eventos, o
hace una donación a BCF, 10% de las ganancias netas (o donaciones, al menos que
usted especifique lo contrario) se añaden automáticamente a ese fondo para darle la
oportunidad, a alguien de nuestra comunidad que de otra forma no podría hacerlo, de
atender nuestros programas de forma gratuita.

a) Envelope #1 (External): From: Use an “alias” (DO NOT use applicant’s real name), add applicant’s address.

b) Envelope #2 (Internal): Write the same alias as in Envelope #1. Fill out and insert the Application for Scholarship
Form and signed rule agreement. Seal envelope.
2) Assignment to be done by applicant:
a) If 10 years old or less: On a white letter-size paper, handwrite a short essay (less than 50 words) on why do you like
Music, add a colorful drawing to it.
b) If older than 10 years: On a white, letter-size paper, handwrite a short essay (less than 100 words) on why music is
important to the world.
3) Insert Assignment and Envelope #2 inside Envelope #1, seal it, add stamp and mail it to us. Thanks!

Please read the following Rules before you apply and sign in agreement:
The BCF Educational Fund is sponsored by BCDQ Cultural Foundation Inc. (BCF). By applying, you agree to abide by the following
Rules, including all eligibility requirements.
ELIGIBILITY: The application is open to legal residents of the state of Texas, USA where not prohibited by law, who are
eight (8) years of age and up at the time of application. BCDQ Cultural Foundation Inc. has the right to verify the
eligibility of each applicant.
2. No Purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to apply or be selected.
3. HOW TO APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIP: You may enter the selection by downloading and filling the application form, and
return it by mail to: BCF Scholarship Committee, 942 Rock Springs Dr. Richmond-TX77469
4. The applicant is responsible for filling out all required fields on the entry form and must follow all the rules.
Incomplete applications as well as those which don’t follow the instructions in full shall be waived.
5. The application process will be opened starting one month before the Selected Program/Event starting date.
6. The application process will end ten (10) days before the selected Event/ Program starting date. BCF reserves the
right to extend or shorten the application process at its sole discretion.
7. SELECTION PROCESS: All eligible applications will be gathered and opened at the end of the submission period. The
selection will be done by a panel of judges, members of the BCF Scholarship Committee.
8. The selection, as determined by the BCF Educational Fund - Scholarship Selection Committee, is final in all respects
and cannot be contested.
9. The selection will be announced on or about 7 days before the selected event/program starting date.
10. ANNOUNCEMENT: Announcement and instructions for scholarship will be sent to the e-mail address supplied on the
application for scholarship. Each applicant is responsible for monitoring his/her e-mail for notifications and receipt
of other communications related to the scholarship selection process.
11. If after the selection has been done, the selected applicant cannot be reached by BCF Team within (2) days, using the
contact information provided at the time of application, that applicant shall forfeit the scholarship.
12. Disclaimer: By applying, the applicant is granting BCDQ Cultural Foundation Inc. permission to use the applicant
name, picture, submitted assignment, likeness or comments for publicity, funding, or future marketing purposes.
13. Disclaimer: BCDQ Cultural Foundation Inc. have the right to adjust or shut down the selection process at any time, as
well as it has the right to investigate possible cheating or tampering before determining a winner.
14. Limitations:
(a) Even though all the children in one family can apply, only one per family per event can be selected.
(b) After an applicant is selected, he/she shall wait at least 6 months before applying again for another
scholarship.
