The University of Notre Dame introduces STEP Theology online
EL CAMINO DE LA FE: An Introduction to the Catholic Faith (Given in Spanish)
This online course offers an introduction to the basics of our Catholic faith and theology, and covers
these main areas: Faith Development, Scripture, Liturgy, Sacraments, Doctrine, Ecclesiology, and
Morality. This course covers part of the requirements for Catechist Basic Certification or Lay
Minister, which would also require attending a live class and a retreat. The course will be from June

LA FE: Introducción a la Doctrina Católica (Se dará en Español)
Este curso en línea ofrece una introducción a lo que es la base de nuestra fe y teología católica y
cubre las seis áreas primordiales: 1. El Desarrollo de la fe, 2. Las Sagradas Escrituras, 3. Lo que
Creemos, 4. La Iglesia, 5. Los Sacramentos, Liturgia y Oración, y 6. La Moralidad. Este curso es
parte del requerimiento para la certificación básica de Catequista o Ministro Laico, lo cual requeriría
además una clase en vivo y un retiro. El curso en línea será del 16 de Junio al 1 de Agosto, 2014.

BASIC CERTIFICACION COURSE IN SPANISH (Given in Spanish)
If you still don’t have your basic certification, we invite you to take a formation course so that you can
obtain it. There are three Formation Centers in which you can participate: St. Philomene in
Sacramento, St. Joseph in Vacaville and St. Joseph in Marysville. The course will be from July until
November 2014. In these formation centers we also offer formation for those who belong to the
Charismatic Renewal Movement and those who wish to better themselves within their ministry in the

Si aún no tienes tu certificación básica, estás invitado a participar en el curso de formación para que
lo obtengas. Tres centros de formación en los que puedes participar: Santa Filomena en
Sacramento, San José en Vacaville y San José en Marysville. El curso será de los meses de Julio a

Parishes are asked to hand pick a team of 3 to 6 youth and adult leaders (liturgical, musical, and
youth ministry) to join us at this five day summer conference July 9-13, 2014 at San Damiano

summer school and organized sports, sometimes 3 nights is ideal length for a summer camp
