Profecías Cumplidas por el Nacimiento de Jesús
Jesus Christ fulfilled over 300 Old Testament prophecies, which is one
of the most awe-inspiring aspects of Christianity. Here are a few of the
prophecies relating to the birth of Jesus that were fulfilled:
Jesucristo cumplió más de 300 profecías cuando estuvo en la tierra.
Una de las cosas más sorprendentes del Cristianismo son las profecías
que se cumplieron en referencia al nacimiento de Cristo.
The Son of God Would Be Born of a Virgin (Isaiah 7:14). “All this
took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: ‘The
virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call
Him Immanuel’ - which means, ‘God with us’” (Matthew 1:22-23).
El Hijo de Dios Nacería de una Virgen (Isaías 7:14). “Todo esto
sucedió para que se cumpliera lo que el Señor había dicho por medio
del profeta: La virgen concebirá y dará a luz un hijo, y lo llamaran

Jesus Would Be Born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2). “‘In Bethlehem in
Judea,’ they replied, ‘for this is what the prophet has written: 'But you,
Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the
rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will be the
shepherd of My people Israel’” (Matthew 2:5-6).
Jesús Nacería en Belén (Miqueas 5:2). “‘En Belén de Judea,’le
respondieron, ‘porque esto es lo que ha escrito el profeta: ‘Pero tú,
Belén, en la tierra de Judá, de ninguna manera eres la menor entre los
principales de Judá; porque de ti saldrá un príncipe que será el pastor
de Mi pueblo Israel.’” (Mateo 2:6).
Joseph and Mary Would Make the Trip to Egypt (Hosea 11:1).
“When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a
dream. ‘Get up,’ he said, ‘take the child and His mother and escape to
Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the
child to kill Him.’ So he got up, took the child and His mother during
the night and left for Egypt, where he stayed until the death of Herod.
And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: ‘Out
of Egypt I called My Son’” (Matthew 2:13-15).
El Viaje a Egipto de José y Maria (Óseas 11:1). “Cuando ya se
habían ido, un ángel del Señor se le apareció en sueño a José y le
dijo: ‘Levántate, toma al niño y a su madre, y huye a Egipto. Quédate
allí hasta que yo te avise, porque Herodes va a buscar al niño para
matarlo.’ Así que se levantó cuando todavía era de noche, tomó al
niño y a Su madre, y partió para Egipto, donde permaneció hasta la
muerte de Herodes. De este modo se cumplió lo que el Señor había
dicho por medio del profeta: ‘De Egipto llamé a Mi Hijo.’ ” (Mateo
2:13-15).
Herod Would Order the Babies to Be Killed (Jeremiah 31:15).
“When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was
furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its
vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the
time he had learned from the Magi. Then what was said through the
prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled: ‘A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping
and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to
be comforted, because they are no more’” (Matthew 2:16-18).
Final Thought - The prophets foretold the coming of the Messiah.
Reflect this Christmas on God’s proof that His Son came to offer you
salvation.
Herodes Manda Que Se Matasen los Niños (Jeremías 31:15).
“Cuando Herodes se dio cuenta de que los sabios se habían burlado
de él, se enfureció y mandó matar a todos los niños en Belén y en sus

Refleja en esta Navidad en la evidencia que Su Hijo vino a ofrecerte la
salvación.

Term to Remember – Magi
Zoroastrian priests. Zoroastrianism was a religion in the ancient near east
(probably ancient Iran) that used the stars to determine events in the
world. “Where is the One who has been born king of the Jews? We saw
His star in the east and have come to worship Him” (Mt. 2:2).
