Certification Program (DCCP)
June 2013 Schedule
The Diocesan Catechist Certification Program (DCCP) is a faith formation program for all catechists in the Diocese
of Orlando. DCCP serves all those involved in parish-based catechetical ministry (of adults, young adults, youth and children).
Necessary information before registering
• Registration for courses takes place only through
the parish faith formation leader and/or Catholic
School Principal [or one designated by them].
• Registrations must be sent on the official DCCP
form.
• June classes fill quickly so early registration is
encouraged.
• Registrations must be received by the Office of
Faith Formation by Friday, May 24, 2013. After
this date class rosters are prepared so registrations
are no longer accepted.
• Check the DCCP brochure or our website,
www.orlandodiocese.org, for descriptions of
courses.
Certification Levels
There are 3 levels of certification:
• Basic—6 courses
• Advanced—6 courses
• Master—6 courses
Information and Materials
Every catechist should be provided an annual DCCP
Schedule and a DCCP brochure. These are published
electronically in PDF format by the Diocesan Office of
Faith Formation and are available through parish leaders
(DRE) and principals. The DCCP brochure, the
schedule, links to on-line courses, information about
equivalency procedures, and much more, are available
at our website.

Cost per person per course is $15.00. Payment is due
with the registration form. Checks are payable to the
Diocese of Orlando.
A person may choose to register for a class offered at
any location in the schedule.
Participants are to bring their own bag lunch for classes
that run through a meal time.
No children or infants are allowed in classes.
Cancellations – cancellation notices received in the
diocesan office ten full days or more before the class
date will be given full refund or a monetary credit.
Cancellation notices received 10 days or less before the
class date will not be given a refund or monetary credit.
Only participants who complete the entire course will
receive credit. If a participant attends only a part of the
course, the participant will not be given partial hourly
credit.
All participants must sign the class roster and an
evaluation form.
Prerequisites
• Prerequisites will be strictly enforced.
• Courses 101, 102, 103 are prerequisites (must be
completed prior to) for course 214.
• Course 102 is a prerequisite for course 215.
• Course 103 is a prerequisite for courses 201, 202, 203
and 214.

Courses in Spanish El Programa de certificación de catequista Diocesano (DCCP) es un programa de formación de fe para todos los catequistas en la
diócesis de Orlando. DCCP sirve todos los involucrados en el Ministerio Catequético basado en la parroquia (de adultos, adolescentes, jóvenes y niños). Información necesaria para matricula
• Inscripción para los cursos lleva a cabo sólo a través

• Costo por persona por curso es de $15.00 Pagarlo con
