Grupo MCI continúa trabajando para finalizar con la instalación de los casi 4.000 m.
de LedFloodStrip® RGB (custom made) en Al Rostamani Maze Tower de Dubai.
El proyecto consiste en empotrar el LedFloodStrip® con un perfil channel en
la fachada de granito en forma de laberinto, de las 56 plantas (a dos caras) que
tiene el edificio. Debido a las extremas condiciones climáticas del país, el frontal
de la luminaria está equipado con cristal “Uvilex” de Schott destinado a absorber
el 99.8% de los rayos UV, y proteger las partes internas del producto.
LedFloodStrip® está compuesto por 60 LEDs/metro RGB (LED SMD 3 en 1),
con un total de 240.000 puntos de luz RGB.
Sus reducidas dimensiones garantizan el mínimo impacto visual en el edificio,
integrándose perfectamente en la arquitectura del mismo y proporcionando una
luz continua y de alto rendimiento.
Al Rostamani Maze Tower es un rascacielos espectacular ubicado en el corazón
financiero de Dubai (Dubai Internacional Financial Center), y más concretamente
en la conocida calle Sheikh Zayed.
ILUMINACIÓN LED EN LA FACHADA DEL CENTRO
COMERCIAL MARINA SQUARE EN SINGAPUR.
Recientemente se acaba de inaugurar la nueva iluminación con tecnología
LED de la fachada del Centro Comercial Marina Square en Singapur.
Para iluminar de forma impactante y con cambio de color la fachada del
Centro Comercial, se han instalados un total de 250 metros de Line
Grazer® RGB y 20 proyectores Square Wallwasher. La iluminación con
LEDs nos permite resaltar las cualidades de los elementos arquitectónicos de la
fachada sin alterar la arquitectura de la misma.
Line Grazer® RGB es una luminaria lineal rígida con cuerpo en aluminio y
tapa de cristal con protección UV, perfecta tanto para la iluminación general
de fachadas como para crear efectos lumínicos de cambios de color.
Square Wall Washer ®
El proyector Square Wallwasher RGB, disponible también en blanco y
blanco cálido, es ideal como bañador de color ornamental de fachadas en
edificios. Este proyector esta compuesto por 36 LEDs y un cabezal orientable
que se adapta a las necesidades específicas del usuario.
Line Grazer ®
El Centro Comercial Marina Square, está situado en una céntrica zona de Singapur, y
es un lugar perfecto para comprar, comer, jugar y relajarse, todo bajo un mismo techo.

Grupo MCI calienta motores para su participación en la feria light+building 2012,
del 15 al 20 de abril en Frankfurt.
Como ya hemos ido informando con anterioridad, Mundocolor Iluminación Técnica
estará presente en la feria de referencia en iluminación, con un stand de 110 m2 y donde
presentará su nuevo catálogo de Iluminación técnica, Architectural Led Lighting 2012.
Barcelona 2012
Un catálogo con un enfoque muy técnico y en el que los clientes podrán encontrar una
variedad muy selecta de productos estándar y custom made, y una recopilación de proyectos
en los que se ha utilizado tecnología LED.

CONSTRUCCIÓN
El pasado 15 de marzo tuvo lugar en el Hotel Princesa Sofia de Barcelona,
la fiesta del número 100 de la revista Vía Construcción.
Grupo MCI fue la empresa patrocinadora del evento en el que asistieron

Al ROSTAMANI MAZE TOWER, DUBAI
Grupo MCI continues working to complete the installation of almost 4,000 m. of
LedFloodStrip® RGB (custom made) in Al Rostamani Maze Tower in Dubai.
The project consists of embedding the LedFloodStrip® in the granite facade
of the 56 plants (two faces) of the building. In this occasion and due to the
extreme climatic conditions of the country, the frontal of the product is
equipped with a special UV protected glass called “Uvilex” of Schott, that
will block up to 99,8% of the harmful UV rays and protect the internal parts
of the linear lighting. LedFloodStrip® is composed by 60 RGB LEDs/m
Nichia SMD 3-in-1, with a total of 240,000 points of lights.
This product provides a high performance homogenous light, and it is perfect
to highlight architectural contour on buildings, ornamental color washing
effects, integration in structures and facades due to its reduced sizes .
Al Rostamani Maze Tower is a skyscraper, located in the Dubai International
Financial Center, topped out along Sheikh Zayed Road. Al Rostamani Maze
tower is an iconic Tower which has a Maze shape in the front and rear elevations.
NEW LED LIGHTING FAÇADE AT THE
MARINA SQUARE SHOPPING CENTER IN SINGAPORE
Recently a new LED lighting façade of the Marina Square Shopping Centre in
Singapore was launched.
To light up the façade with color changing lighting, 250 meters of Line Grazer®
RGB and 20 Square Wallwasher projectors, were installed. The LED lighting
allows us to highlight the qualities of the architectural elements of the facade without
altering the architecture of it.
Line Grazer® RGB is a linear lighting product, with aluminium body for heat
dissipation and special glass cover for UV protection. This product is perfect for
highlighting building architecture with a uniform light and ideal for lighting up
building facade with desired lighting effects.
Square Wall Washer ®
The Square Wallwasher RGB is a 345x280 mm. lighting fixture available in
three colors: white, warm white or RGB. It has 36 LEDs and a swivel head to suit user
requirements.
Line Grazer ®
Centrally situated in Singapore’s beautiful bay area, Marina Square is the place where
you can shop, eat, play and relax - all under one roof.

Grupo MCI gears up for its participation in the light+building 2012 fair, that will be held
from 15th to 20th of April in Frankfurt.
As we have been reporting in previous MCI NEWS, Mundocolor Iluminación Técnica,
will be exhibiting with a stand of 110m2, where also the new catalogue Architectural LED
Lighting 2012 will be presented.

This new catalog got a very technical approach, in which customers will find a wide range of
