PURPOSE AND DIRECTION
STD 1.2 EV 112
INDICATOR 1.2 The school leadership and staff commit to a culture that is based on
shared values and beliefs about teaching and learning and supports challenging,
equitable educational programs and learning experiences for all students that include
achievement of learning, thinking, and life skills. Below is a sample of one of the
communication systems used by Josue Christian School (Friday Folder). It is used as
an effective tool to communicate with stakeholders.
Friday Folder (Communication System with Parents)
The Friday Folder is one of the mechanisms Josue Christian School uses to
effectively communicate with parents. The School has the policy of maintaining
the parents informed about the academic performance of their children.
It is sent home every Friday, and it contains all relevant information parents
need to know such as: graded assessments, graded homeworks, all evaluations
that took place during the week, circulars, newsletter, academic calendars,
schedules, invitations to special events, etc..
All documentation sent via Friday Folder will be returned to school Monday
morning. Parents have to sign a control sheet where they show their agreement
and certify they have read all documents and information sent. In order to see a
