THE CENTER FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING
(Classes in non-credit ESL and credit ESLA and ENGA)
The Center for English Language Learning @ San
Antonio College (CELL@SAC) provides four levels of
English as a Second Language. Each level includes
speaking/listening, writing, grammar and reading. The
classes prepare students for both certificate and/or
academic programs. In the first two levels, students
will improve their English to communicate in real life
situations and for the workplace. In levels three and
four, students improve their English for professional
careers.
The Center for English Language Learning @ San
Antonio College (CELL@SAC) ofrece cuatro niveles
de ESL. Cada nivel incluye clases de conversación,
gramática y lectura. Las clases preparan a los
estudiantes para programas técnicos y/o académicos.
En los dos primeros niveles, los estudiantes mejoran
el Inglés para poder comunicarse en situaciones de
la vide diaria y el trabajo. En los niveles tres y cuatro
los estudiantes mejoran las habilidades en ingles para
carreras profesionales.
ESL LEVEL 1
This course serves as the entry point for community
members who wish to build a foundation that can be
applied at home or in the workplace. The instructors
focus on real life home and workplace situations.
ESL LEVELS 2 THROUGH 4
Our students enter with some ability to communicate
in English.If students enter at Level 2 or Level 3
and pass their course, they automatically qualify to
enter the next higher level.
ESL literacy class (NEW)
This is a new class for students with limited skill in
English.
The summer schedule for ESL classes is as
follows:
June 8 - July 29 Monday / Wednesday
June 9 - July 30 Tuesday / Thursday
