Filling in the “Grupo” box
How do you find the groups for each course in the faculty’s webpage?
1. Access the webpage: www.fyl.uniovi.es
2. Click on “información académica” (academic information) and then “horarios”
(schedules)
1 3. You will find two lists with the Degrees and Minors this Faculty offers. You
need to know the Degree or Minor your courses belong to. For example,
“Perspectiva de Género en las Literaturas de Lengua Inglesa” is both offered in
the English Studies Degree and in the Minor in English Studies.
2 4. Click on “Semanal” and you will find the schedule in PDF format. If the course
has TG (group tutorials), you need to download another PDF document entitled
“TG”
5. Finally, choose the groups for CEX, SEM and PLA (pay attention to the hours
and days of the week so that you can attend all the courses you have selected).
Some courses have different schedules depending on the week:
PAR/IMPAR DIVISION
-­‐ Par: it refers to even weeks.
-­‐ Impar: it refers to odd weeks.
The first week of the academic year is week number 1 (odd week) and the
second is number 2 (even week), and so on and so forth.
