Create thank you notes that perfectly match your
invitations by ordering informals printed with this
elegant “Thank You” design. Notes are available blank
inside for writing a personal message. For an additional
charge of $30.00, order notes printed inside with your
names and choice of verse. The front thank you design
is available as shown in the ink color of your choice.
Inside wording will be flat printed in a lettering style
and ink color to match your invitations. Blank mailing
envelopes are included. Ordering is easy!

ADDRESS ON FLAP OF ENVELOPE
This popular feature will help ensure delivery because incorrectly addressed envelopes will
be returned to you. Available printed on any invitation, informal or thank you envelope.

If you would like to show that special color from your wedding theme on your invitations,
Stylart® can print an ink beautifully matched to your color swatch.
Just provide us with a swatch and indicate on your order form that your ink color is a
“MATCH.” If your swatch has more than one color, clearly indicate which color you want
matched. Please note that the color of the paper will affect the shade of the ink. Therefore,
the finished ink may appear to look different than a color swatch on some papers. The best
match will occur on white papers.

CUSTOMER SUPPLIED WORDING
If you choose a verse in the album that is labeled as “CUSTOM," or have written your own
verse, you must write out the verse completely to assure accuracy in imprinting.
DOUBLE PRESS RUN
A double press run will not allow raised ink to be printed on both sides. One side will be flat
ink. Foil is not available on both sides of the double press run. One side will be ink. Fronts
of invitations that are foil stamped cannot be changed or interchanged.

paper used for the invitation or accessory card. A double press run charge also must be

REVERSE OUTLINE OF LETTERING
Some customers want the white lettering on their full-bleed invitations even when some of the
photo background is light. To make the wording legible, a dark edge outlining is put around

FADE BEHIND WORDING
If the area where you want the wording (on 4-color, full-bleed invitations) is cluttered, a
special process will “fade out” or blur that area so the wording will show up more clearly.

Programs
The back page of our programs are blank. If you wish to have the back printed with additional
program copy or a personal message, add $30.00 to your cost. If the total number of lines from
the entire program exceeds 70, add $1.00 for each line over 70. Please allow 1 extra working

Black and white proofs may be mailed, emailed or faxed at your request. Please specify how
you would like your proof sent, otherwise it will be faxed.

This option applies to photo invitations that are normally vignetted (faded out around the

Many invitations in the Stylart® album are available with a printed black and white photo
as space allows. Simply add the $35.00 charge to the invitation price.

Applies to orders not priced for color photos. This cost should be added to the regular
invitation price.
For best results on photo invitations, we need a digital file and a sample print of that same
photo to match color and skin tones or a print that we can scan. (All samples shown in this
catalog are produced from studio quality photos printed digitally.) The digital file must be a
minimum of 300 dpi or higher in a .jpg or .tiff format. For best quality, photos supplied for
4-color or black and white printed photos need to be a little larger than finished size.
We use the following programs in our production: Freehand, Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark,
PageMaker and InDesign. If your file is saved as anything other than a TIFF, we need the
support file. If you only have a sample print, we c. an obtain fairly good quality by scanning
your photo. .All images provided to us will be returned to you separate from your order. We
will not produce from any copyrighted files or prints without written permission from the
photographer.

General Directions for Ordering
Photo Invitations
Copyright information
There are legal concerns involved in using A PHOTOGRAPH WHICH HAS A COPYRIGHT. Most
professional photographers retain automatic copyright privileges on their work. If a customer’s order includes
a copyright photo or digital file, written permission must be obtained from the photographer before we can
proceed with the order. Any verbal assurance of approval by the photographer is not sufficient. Stylart is bound
by legal obligations to require WRITTEN permission.
INVITATIONS THAT ARE PRINTED ON A COLOR PRESS. Samples on pages 64-82 and 89.
Send a digital file or a print. Do not send a negative. We prefer a digital file. The file needs to be 300
dpi and approximately the same size as the invitation image. We can work with jpg. tiff, eps and pdf.
If sending a print, we prefer a 5”x 7”, no larger than 8” x 10”. Avoid sending photos with a heavy texture
which may show up on the printed image. The quality of a photo invitation produced from a scanned print
may not be as well-defined as one printed from a digital file. Your original photo will be returned separate
from your order.
For any photo touch-ups, please call your authorized Stylart dealer for a quote. Any photo enhancements
must be included in the file/print sent with the order.
Colored Wording. For the best color quality, select an imprint color from pages 2A-2B. You may also
choose an ink color from the swatches shown on page 2. Gold or silver ink are not available on press-printed
invitations. We cannot guarantee the color of the wording will match the samples shown on the swatches.
The colors in your photo may affect the wording color. There is an extra charge of $7.00 per item for colored
wording. Colored wording cannot be printed on an invitation where the personalizing is part of the photo
(samples shown on page 77).
If you want both black and a second color, indicate clearly how your colors should appear (sample on page
81). Otherwise, all the wording will be printed in your color choice from page 2, 2A and 2B.
INVITATIONS THAT HAVE BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOS. Samples on pages 90-95.
Send a digital file or a print. The same specifications for the press-printed color photo invitations also
apply to black and white photo invitations.
A black and white photo will be printed in the same ink color as the invitation wording (except when the
wording only is printed on a separate piece; an ink color choice would be available for the wording while
the photo would be printed in black ink). We recommend choosing black ink for the photo. Printed photo
invitations are not available in gold or silver ink.
INVITATIONS THAT HAVE LAB-PRINTED COLOR PHOTOS. Samples on pages 63, 83-88.
Send a digital file or a print. The same specifications for the press-printed color photo invitations also
apply to lab-printed photo invitations.
Send with your order:
• a digital file from which the photos will be produced
and
• a print that allows our lab technicians to see what the preferred
colors should be in the finished photo.
When mailing a print to Stylart, DO NOT USE PAPER CLIPS OR STAPLES. They can damage the print.
Do not send irreplaceable photos. Have a copy made.
The receipt of any customer order for photo wedding invitations constitutes a signed statement
releasing us from any liability for copyright infringement and limiting our liability for lost or damaged photos
to the replacement cost of the photos or the total value of the wedding invitation order, whichever is less.

Invitation Assembly and addressing envelopes
Photo Invitations
Many invitations require customer assembly–punching holes, tying ribbons/bows, folding, etc. It creates a uniquely personal
invitation but it takes time when so many other details of planning a wedding require attention. Stylart will put together
all the parts and pieces of your invitation so that it’s ready for you to insert in the envelope. We also have the capability to

Making your invitation easy to read
This information applies to invitations where the personalizing is part of the photo (samples on page 77).
Ideally, you should select a photo that includes a basically dark or light area uncluttered by a visually busy
background. If your photo doesn’t fit that description, the samples shown on this page reveal how outlined wording,
a background fade out or the semi-transparent box can improve the look and readability of your invitation.

1. Many invitations in this album may be printed using one of the
Spanish Formats shown on this page. The Spanish Format charge
includes: English or Spanish language with accent marks, overall
layout as shown and up to 25 lines. There is an additional charge of
$1.00 per extra line. Please allow 5 working days to process orders.
2. All font style choices are available for printing of Spanish Formats.
However, if an order includes a great amount of copy, we recommend
Block font style - as shown below on the left side of Format WB. This
will be more legible.
3. To insure accuracy, please send typewritten copy or press-ready art.
Please clearly indicate placement of accent marks. We cannot be
responsible for correcting wording or spelling errors on original copy
furnished.
4. Sorry, we cannot accept phone orders for Spanish wording and formats.
5. Spanish language is available on any invitation in this album. Please

Foil Colors available for imprinting are: Black, Blue, Burgundy, Copper, Emerald, Espresso, Fuchsia, Gold, Hunter, Navy, Orange, Periwinkle, Purple, *Rainbow, Red, Rose, Silver, Slate,
Teal, White and Yellow foil. *Rainbow foil is an additional charge of $3.50 for every 50 napkins ordered.
The Design Number is noted under each design on the previous page and next to featured napkins. Prices include two lines of imprint available only as shown and choice of design. If you
are ordering imprint only, make sure you indicate on the order form that no design is wanted.

The Napkin Number tells us your color choice as well as the size of napkin you have selected.
Choosing more than one kind of napkin or design can result in a very personalized look. If you choose to introduce variety into your napkin selections, be aware that each
size, color or design variation is priced as a separate order. In other words, if you wanted 100 white luncheon napkins and 50 white beverage napkins, the “Add’l 50” price would not
apply to the purchase of 50 beverage napkins. They would be priced as the first 50 of a separate napkin order.
