Características
El taladro eléctrico es altamente manejable y potente con función de
atornillador y taladro, para diámetros de tamaño pequeño a medio.
Es ideal para trabajar en espacios estrechos, por encima de la cabeza y en
cualquier lugar gracias a que opera con baterías.
El cambio de broca o punta de atornillar se puede realizar a una sola mano
de una forma rápida utilizando un porta brocas de sujeción con un casquillo
con sistema Auto Lock.

Donde utilizar

atornillar o perforar en madera, metal y plástico.

Advertencia

Antes de operar la herramienta, asegúrese de que conoce como apagarla

• General
1.- Mantenga el área de trabajo limpia
En caso contrario, pueden ocurrir accidentes.
2.- Considere el ambiente del área de trabajo
No exponga la herramienta a la lluvia. No utilice la herramienta en condiciones
de humedad. Mantenga el área bien iluminada. No utilice la herramienta
donde exista el riesgo de fuego o explosión, por ejemplo, en la presencia de
líquidos o gases inflamables.
3.- Mantenga a los niños alejados
No permita niños, visitantes o animales cerca del área de trabajo o que
toquen la herramienta.
4.- Vista adecuadamente
Utilice tenis antiderrapantes y guantes con textura cuando trabaje en
ambientes de exterior.
5.- Manténgase alerta
Observe siempre lo que hace. Use el sentido común. No utilice el equipo
cuando se encuentre cansado.
6.-Revise partes dañadas
Antes de usar, revise que el equipo no se encuentre dañado. No utilice la
herramienta si encuentra daños en ella. Nunca intente reparar el equipo por
su cuenta.

7.- Retire la batería
Si el diseño lo permite, retire la batería cuando la herramienta no esté en
uso, antes de cambiar cualquier parte de la herramienta o sus accesorios o
cuando lo lleva a servicio.
8.- Reparaciones
Esta herramienta cumple con los requerimientos de seguridad adecuados.
Las reparaciones sólo deben ser realizadas por personal calificado, y utilizar
piezas de repuesto originales.
• Baterías
- Nunca intente abrirla por ninguna razón.
- No exponga al agua.
- No guarde en lugares que excedan de 40°C
- Cargue la batería únicamente en temperaturas entre 4°C y 40°C
- Utilice únicamente el cargador suministrado
- Antes de cargar, verifique que la batería se encuentra limpia y seca
- Bajo condiciones extremas, la batería puede derramar líquido. Si sucede:
- Limpie el líquido utilizando un paño. Evite el contacto con la piel.
- En caso de que haya contacto del líquido con los ojos o la piel, enjuague con abundante agua.
Peligro de fuego. Evite tocar los conectores de la batería a fin de no
provocar cortos circuitos.
- No incinere la batería.
- No intente cargar baterías dañadas.
• Cargador
- Utilice únicamente el cargador suministrado.
- Nunca intente cargar baterías no recargables.
- No exponga al agua.
- No abra el cargador.
- El cargador es para uso en interiores únicamente.
- Antes de perforar paredes, pisos o techos, revise que no se encuentre
cableado o tuberías.
- Evite tocar la punta de metal del taladro después de su uso, puede estar
caliente.

COLOCANDO Y REMOVIENDO
LA BATERÍA
Para colocar la batería, inserte como se
muestra en la figura.
Para retirar, presione los botones de
liberación y jale hacia abajo.
COLOCANDO Y RETIRANDO LA PUNTA
1.- Coloque el Interruptor de Adelante / Atrás en la posición central.
2.- Presione la parte posterior de la llave de sujeción.
3.- Para abrir la llave de sujeción, gire en sentido contrario a las manecillas
del reloj.
4.- Coloque la punta deseada.
5.- Para asegurar, gire la llave de sujeción en sentido de las manecillas del
reloj. Apriete firmemente.

Cargando la batería
La batería debe ser cargada antes de
ser usado el equipo.
Una batería nueva, o una batería
que no ha sido utilizada por un lapso
prolongado, obtendrán su mejor
desempeño después de 5 ciclos de
carga y descarga. La batería puede
calentarse durante el proceso de carga,
es normal y no indica ningún problema.
No cargue la batería en ambientes con temperaturas menor a 4°C o mayor
a 40°C. Temperatura de carga recomendada: 24°C
Para cargar la batería conecte el cargador a un tomacorriente, el indicador
de uso se encenderá de color rojo.
Para cargar la batería, retírela de la herramienta e insértela en el adaptador.
La batería sólo puede ser colocada de una manera.
No fuerce la colocación.
Asegúrese de que la batería esté bien colocada.
Inserte la batería como se muestra en la imagen.
El indicador verde se encenderá. La primera
vez que cargue la batería se recomienda hacerlo
durante un período de 12 horas. Posteriormente
cargue la batería por 6 horas.
El indicador verde no se apagará automáticamente, por lo que deberá
retirar la batería después del tiempo recomendado.

Para perforar y atornillar, utilice la
rotación hacia Adelante (en sentido
de las manecillas del reloj). Para
remover tornillos utilice la rotación
hacia Atrás (en sentido contrario a
las manecillas del reloj).
Para seleccionar la rotación hacia
Adelante, presione el interruptor de
Adelante / Atrás hacia la izquierda.
Para seleccionar la rotación hacia Atrás, presione el interruptor de
Adelante / Atrás hacia la derecha.
Para bloquear la herramienta, coloque el interruptor de Adelante / Atrás
en posición central.
Seleccionando el modo de torque
Esta herramienta cuenta con un selector de torque a fin de elegir el modo
más adecuado a sus necesidades.
Tornillos largos y materiales duros de perforar requieren de un torque más
alto en comparación con materiales suaves o tornillos pequeños.
Para perforar en madera, metal y plásticos, coloque el selector de torque en
una posición alta (6-8).
Para perforar en tabique, coloque el selector de torque en posición media
(4-5).
Para atornillar, coloque el selector de torque en posición baja (1-3).

En caso de que no conozca qué tipo de
torque utilizar, proceda como sigue:

- Coloque el selector de torque en la
posición más baja.
- Atornille o perfore.
- Si no se consigue el efecto deseado,
aumente el modo de torque hasta que
encuentre la posición correcta.
Perforando / atornillando
Seleccione la manera de rotación Adelante / Atrás utilizando el interruptor
correspondiente.
Para encender la herramienta, presione el interruptor de Velocidad variable.
La velocidad de la herramienta depende de la presión que proporcione al
interruptor.
Para apagar la herramienta, suelte el interruptor de Velocidad variable.

Sugerencias de uso
• Perforar
- Siempre aplique una presión ligera en línea recta con la punta.
- Utilice puntas de acuerdo a los materiales que desee perforar.
• Atornillar
- Siempre utilice el tipo y tamaño correcto de punta.
- Si se dificulta atornillar, intente aplicando una pequeña cantidad de líquido
para lavar las manos como lubricante.
- Siempre apriete la herramienta y atornille en línea recata a la punta.
Mantenimiento
- Su nueva herramienta Steren ha sido diseñada para operar por tiempo
prolongado con un mínimo de mantenimiento. Una operación satisfactoria
continua depende de la limpieza y cuidado adecuados.
- No requiere de mantenimiento más que la limpieza regular.
- Antes de realizar cualquier acción de mantenimiento, retire la batería de
la herramienta.
- Desconecte el cargador antes de limpiarlo.
- Limpie las ventilas regularmente y el cargador, utilizando un paño suave.

1.- Para hacer efectiva la garantía, presente ésta póliza y el producto, en donde fue adquirido o en Electrónica Steren
S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrónica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso de estar defectuoso sin ningún cargo al
consumidor. Los gastos de transportación serán cubiertos por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días, contados a partir de la recepción del producto en
cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse efectiva la garantía.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios, así como hacer válida esta garantía es
en cualquiera de las direcciones mencionadas posteriormente.
ESTA PÓLIZA NO SE HARA EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.
3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no autorizado por Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
El consumidor podrá solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la propia casa comercial donde adquirió el producto.
Si la presente garantía se extraviara, el consumidor puede recurrir a su proveedor para que le expida otra póliza de

Intended use
The 12Vdc cordless / rechargeable drill/driver has been designed for
screwdriving applications and for drilling in wood, metal and plastics.
The tool is intended for consumer use only.

Before operating the tool, make sure that you know how to switch the tool

1.- Keep work area clean
Cluttered areas and benches can cause accidents
2.- Consider work area environment
Do not expose the tool to rain. Do not use the tool in damp or wet conditions.
Keep the work are well lit. Do not use the tool where there is a risk of causing
fire or explosion, e.g. in the presence of flammable liquids and gases.
3.- Keep children away
Do not allow children, visitors or animals to come near the work area or to
touch the tool.
4.- Dress properly
Preferably wear rubber gloves and non-slip footwear when working outdoors.
5.- Stay alert
Watch what you are doing. Use common sense. Do not operate the tool
when you are tired.
6.- Check for damaged parts
Before use, carefully check the tool for damage. Do not use the tool if any
part is damaged or defective. Never attempt any repairs yourself.
7.- Remove the battery
Where the design permits, remove the battery when the tool is not in use,
before changing any parts of the tool, accessories or attachments and before
servicing.
8.- Repairs
This tool complies with relevant safety requirements. Repairs should only
be carried out by qualified persons using original spare parts; otherwise this
may result in considerable danger to the user.

• Batteries
- Never attempt to open for any reason.
- Do not expose to water.
- Do not store in locations where the temperature may exceed 40°C.
- Charge only at ambient temperatures between 4°C and 40°C.
- Charge only using the charger provided with the tool.
- Before charging, make sure that the battery is dry and clean.
- Under extreme conditions, battery leakage may occur. When you notice
liquid on the battery, proceed as follows:
Carefully wipe the liquid of using a cloth. Avoid skin contact.
In case of skin or eye contact, follow the instructions below.
Fire hazard! Avoid short-circuiting the contacts of a detached battery.
- Do not incinerate the battery.
- Do not attempt to charge damaged batteries.
• Charger
- Use the supplied charger, only.
- Never attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Do not expose to water.
- Do not open the charger.
The charger is intended for indoor use only.
Before drilling into walls, floors or ceilings, check for the location of wiring
and pipes.
Avoid touching the tip of a drill bit just after drilling, as it may be hot.

FITTING AND REMOVING THE
BATTERY
To fit the battery, line it up with the
receptacle on the tool. Slide the
battery into the receptacle and push
until the battery snaps into place.
To remove the battery, push the
release button while at the same time
pulling the battery out of the receptacle.
FITTING AND REMOVING A DRILL BIT OR SCREWDRIVER BIT
1.- Lock the tool by setting the forward / reverse slider to the centre position.
2.- Hold the rear part of the chuck.
3.- To open the chuck, turn counterclockwise.
4.- Insert the bit shaft into the chuck.
5.- Firmly tighten the chuck by turning the front part clockwise.

Charging the battery
The battery needs to be charged before
first use.
A new battery or a battery that has not
been used for an extended period of
time, achieves full performance only
after
approx.

charging
and
discharging cycles. The battery may
become warm while charging; this is normal and does not indicate a problem.
Do not charge the battery at ambient temperatures below 4°C or above 40°C.
Recommended charging temperature: approx. 24°C
To charge the battery, plug the charger into an
outlet, the indicator light will turn on in red.
To charge the battery, remove it from the tool and
insert it into the charger.
The battery will only fit into the charger in one way.
Do not force. Be sure the battery is fully seated in
the charger.
Place the battery as shown in the picture. The light
indicator will turn on. First time you charge the
battery must be for 12 hours.
Later, you can charge it for 6 hours.

The green light indicator won’t power off automatically, remove the
battery after charging.
Selecting the direction of rotation

For drilling and for tightening screws,
use forward (clockwise) rotation. For
loosening screws or removing
a jammed drill bit, use reverse
(counterclockwise) rotation.
To select forward rotation, push the
forward / reverse slider to the left.
To select reverse rotation, push the forward / reverse slider to the right.
To lock the tool, set the forward / reverse slider into the centre position.
Selecting the torque
This tool is fitted with a collar to select the torque for the tightening screws.
Large screws and hard workpiece materials require a higher torque setting
than small screws and soft workpiece materials.
For drilling in wood, metal and plastics, set the collar to high position (6-8).
For drilling in masonry, set the collar to medium position (4-5).
For screwdriving, set the collar to low position (1-3).

If you do not yet know the appropriate
setting, proceed as follows:

- Set the collar to the lowest torque.
- Tighten the first screw.
- If the clutch ratchets before the
desired result is achieved increase
the collar setting until you reach the
correct setting.
Drilling / screwdriving
Select forward or reverse rotation using the forward / reverse slider.
To switch the tool on, press the switch.
The tool speed depends on how far you press the switch.
To switch the tool off, release the switch.

Hints for optimum use
• Drilling
- Always apply a light pressure in a straight line with the drill bit.
- Use the right drill bit according your needs.
• Screwdriving
- Always use the correct type and size of screwdriver bit.
- If screws are difficult to tighten, try applying a small amount of washing
liquid or soap as a lubricant.
- Always hold the tool and screwdriver bit in a straight line with the screw.
Maintenance
- Your new tool has been designed to operate over a long period of time
with a minimum of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends
upon proper tool care and regular cleaning.
- Does not require any maintenance apart from regular cleaning.
- Unplug the charger before cleaning.
- Regularly clean the ventilation slots in your tool and charger using a soft
dry cloth.

This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in
workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from the
date of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice, product
box or package, and product, must be presented when warranty service is
required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free
of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the
claim was received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accessories to
customer, as well as warranty service, at any of the addresses mentioned
later.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
