MIS ULTIMOS SEMANAS EN STC
MY LAST WEEKS AT STC
Estaba pensando que el 1 de julio todavía es muy lejos pero
ya es muy pronto. Según mi calendario, el 12 de junio será el
único domingo en junio que estaré aquí en la parroquia.
I keep thinking that July 1st is a long time away but it is just
around the corner. In looking at my calendar, June 12th will
be the only Sunday in June that I will be here at the parish.
El fin de semana del 5 de junio, estaré en Davenport, Iowa
para asistir la ordenación de un amigo. El 19 y 26 de junio
estaré en Grecia con mi familia para un viaje que hemos planeado muy antes de la decisión de moverme a una nueva parroquia. Luego, me voy directamente a Sta. Margarita María.
The weekend of June 5th, I will be in Davenport, Iowa to
attend the priesthood ordination of a friend. June 19th and
26th I will be in Greece with family members for a trip that
had been planned even before the decision was made for me
to transfer. Then, I will go directly to St. Margaret Mary.
Nuestra celebración del Centenario en el 16 de octubre va a
ser la oficial “Gracias y Despedida” de parroquial. Pido que
usamos el 16 de octubre para este propósito. Pero, sabiendo
que en este momento no puedo controlar su deseo de expresar
sus sentimientos a mi, el 12 de junio será la oportunidad mejor para tener una despedida simple.
Our Centennial celebration on October 16th will be the parish’s official “Thank You and Farewell” to me. I ask that we
all plan to use October 16th for this purpose. However, realizing that, at this point, I cannot curb people’s desire to express their sentiments to me, June 12th will be the best opportunity to have a simple farewell.
La única condición es que yo no voy a planearlo. Pues, si
habrá cualquiera despedida en el 12 de junio, alguien diferente debe planearlo. Por el momento, simplemente disfrutamos
de las ultimas semanas que tenemos juntos.
The only condition is that I will not be the one to plan it. So,
if there will be any sort of farewell on June 12th, other people
will have to plan it. In the meantime, let us simply enjoy the
remaining weeks we will have together.

El Obispo Kane y representantes de la Arquidiócesis quieren
reunirse con lideres de la parroquia y otros parroquianos para
revisar la transición al nuevo párroco. La reunión será a las
6:00 p.m. en la iglesia.
Bishop Kane and members of the Placement Board would
like to meet with parish leaders and other parishioners to review the upcoming transition in pastors. The meeting will
take place at 6:00 p.m. in the church.

Tendremos nuestra celebración anual de la Fiesta de Corpus
Christi en ese día. Favor de notar que es el mismo fin de
semana del Día de los Caídos.
We will have our annual parish celebration of the Feast of
Corpus Christi on this day. Please note that it is also the
same weekend as the Memorial Day holiday.
Tendremos una sola Misa a las 10:00 a.m. que será multilingüe. Favor de notar que esto será la ÚNICA Misa en el
día del 29 de Mayo.
We will still have one single Mass at 10:00 a.m. which will
be multilingual. Please note that this will be the ONLY
Mass of the day on May 29th.
Después de la Misa, tendremos de nuevo la procesión afuera
con el Santísimo Sacramento. Pero, este año, la recepción va
a ser mas simple para que podamos poner mas énfasis y
energía en nuestra celebración de 100 años en octubre. Por
esta razón, habrá solamente café, donuts, dulces, y otros pasteles durante la recepción.
After the Mass we will again have our outdoor procession
with the Blessed Sacrament. But, this year, we will keep the
reception simple so that we can give greater focus and energy
in celebrating our 100th year in October. For this reason,
there will only be coffee, donuts, cakes, and other light pastries served after the reception.
