Anniversary Thanks: Thanks to all who made my 25th
anniversary special. The Masses and luncheon were a
wonderful way to mark the years of ministry that the Lord
has allowed me to enjoy. A special thanks to those who
decorated, served, cleaned up and provided the music and
video. The celebration will be a memory to last for the next
25! God bless you all!
Congratulations to our Graduates! This
weekend we are recognizing all of our
parishioners who graduated this year. The
10AM and 11:30AM Masses will be our way
of offering thanksgiving to the Lord for the
blessings that he has bestowed on the graduates!
Parish Council: The members of the Parish Council will
meet on Sunday night in the parish hall at 6:00 PM.
Second Collection: This weekend the second collection is
the Church Maintenance collection. Thanks to your
generosity, we have been able to enhance the
parish properties. The large trees covering the
statues of St. James and St. Peter have been
removed and the statues cleaned. In addition,
there are flower beds decorating them. Next
week is the monthly insurance collection.
New Eucharistic Ministers: There will be a training for
new Eucharistic Ministers on Monday, July 7 at 7:30 PM in
the chapel following the 7PM Mass.
TV Mass: On Saturday, July 12, the parish is
responsible for the taping of the TV Mass. If you
are able to serve as a lector or altar server, please
see Fr. Pregana. All are invited to be present for
the part of the “congregation”! Taping is at 10AM
at Bishop STang Chapel. Please arrive no later than
9:45AM.
Catholic Charities Appeal: This year’s
Appeal closed on Tuesday and our parish
total for 2014 was $17,912. We exceeded
last year’s final total ($17,067) through the
generosity of all who gave to the Appeal.
May God bless you for your outreach to the poor and needy
in our Diocese!
Knights of Columbus: The new group forming
for the KoC will meet on Monday, June 30
following the 7:00PM Mass. The agenda will
focus on the upcoming project for the soup
kitchen. New members are welcome!
Youth Choir: Phil Perreira invites any young people of the
parish to form part of the youth choir. The rehearsals will be
on Wednesdays from 5:30PM-6:30PM. Remember: Singing
is to pray twice!
Summer Camp: Our parish St. Vincent de Paul Society is
offering an opportunity to any needy youngsters of the parish
ages 4-14 to attend Cathedral Camp in East Freetown. For

Fenway Park: The Boston Red Sox are hosting
a “Catholic Night” at Fenway on Tuesday, July
29, and offering specially priced bleacher ($30)
and right field box tickets ($55). The Sox will be
playing Blue Jays. Parishes from the dioceses of New
England are invited to participate in “Catholic Night.” For
more information, there are flyers at the doors of the church.
Diocesan Hispanic Council: The representative members of
the Diocesan Spanish Apostolate will meet with Fr. Pregana
here in the parish hall on Saturday, June 28 at 12 noon.
Pieta Ministry: St. Anthony Shrine & Ministry Center in
Boston is offering spiritual comfort to grieving parents.
There are monthly gatherings and retreats. For more

Adult Grief Support Group: Community Nurse & Hospice
is offering a weekly meeting for 5 weeks beginning on Wed,

Altar server Outing: The altar
servers of the parish are invited to a

fun day at WaterWizz in Wareham
Cathedral Camp for our parish outing
on Tuesday, July 22. For more

supervised by lifeguards for swimming,
grills will be available for cooking, and
food available for purchase. Bring your
own lawn chairs and beach ball! All are
welcome and encouraged to a restful day at the Camp!
Altar Server Robes: There are new altar server albs
to replace the worn cassock/surplices. The Senior
Servers will wear a metal cross to indicate that they
have received the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Restoration of the Tabernacle: The
Blessed Sacrament has been moved to the
side altar temporarily while the original
tabernacle door is being refurbished.
Please remember to make a sign of
reverence when entering church, especially if
you enter through the side door.
Golf Tournament: The Diocesan Health Facilities 7th
Annual Golf Classic will be held August 25,2014 at LeBaron
Hills Country Club, Lakeville, MA. All proceeds will benefit
the over 900 individuals we serve in our skilled nursing and
rehabilitation centers and community programs. For details

Bereavement Group: The New Bedford Area group will

UMD: Catholic Campus Ministry at
UMD is inviting all incoming
freshmen to a gathering of the CM
team and other new students. There

Catequesis: El Señor Tim Mitchell va a estar disponible el
domingo 29 de junio y 6 de julio para registrar los niños
para catequesis el próximo ano. Si están registrados antes
del mes de Agosto, el costo será del ano pasado.

El Aniversario del Padre: Muchísimas gracias a todos los
que participaron en la celebración del aniversario. Las
Misas y el almuerzo eran una forma buena de celebrar los
25 anos. Gracias a los que coordinaron varias partes de l
evento. Era una celebración de mi “familia” en Cristo!
Dios les bendiga a todos!
Los graduados: Estamos recordando en la
Misa los graduados de este año como Acción de
Gracias por ellos y por los éxitos que han
podido alcanzar. ¡Que Dios los bendiga con los
dones celestiales!
Consejo Parroquial: Los miembros del Consejo se reunirán
este domingo a las 6:00 en el sótano del Templo.
Segunda Colecta: Este fin de semana la segunda colecta
es para el Mantenimiento de la parroquia. Gracias a su
generosidad hemos quitado los arboles grandes que
cubrieron las imágenes de San Pedro y Santiago. A la vez
hemos limpiado las imágenes y sembrado flores alrededor.
Gracias por su generosidad.
Nuevos Ministros de la Eucaristía: Habrá un taller para
los que dieron sus nombres al Padre expresando su deseo de
servir como Ministro de la Eucaristía. La reunión será el
lunes 7 de julio a las 7:30PM después de la Misa.
Misa Televisada: La parroquia se hace
responsable por la Misa televisada en ingles el
sábado 12 de julio en la capilla del colegio
Bishop Stang. Todos están invitados,
especialmente los acólitos. Hable con el Padre.
Coro Juvenil: Los niños y jóvenes están invitados a
formar parte del coro juvenil de la parroquia. Los ensayos
son los miércoles a las 5:30-6:30 en el templo. Mayor
información, hable con Teresa o Phil.
Día para los Acólitos: Los acólitos de la parroquia están
invitados al parque acuático “WaterWizz” el día martes 22
de Julio. Mayor información, hable con el Padre Pregana o
con Sra. Carrie Pereira.
Nuevas Albas: Hemos conseguido nuevas albas blancas
para los acólitos de la parroquia. Además, los acólitos
confirmados llevan una cruz.
Día de Descanso: Hemos reservado un día en
Cathedral Camp para la feligresía el domingo
13 de julio. Todos están invitados: el lago va
a estar abierto para nadar, habrá asadores para
hacer comida y comida disponible para
comprar. Lleven sillas y los ancianos para que
ellos también disfruten el día. ¡Vengan a disfrutar el día
como familia!
Restauración de la Puerta del Tabernáculo: El Santísimo
Sacramento esta en el tabernáculo a lado del templo por un
tiempo mientras que la puerta original del Tabernáculo esta
restaurado. Recuerden de hacer una reverencia cuando este
entrando, especialmente si es por la puerta lateral.
Beca: Ingles para los que hablan otras idiomas (ESOL) a
Bristol Community College. Este programa es para ayudar a
los que quieren aprender ingles. Hay 3 niveles disponible
según su capacidad. Clases inician en verano. Los que
cumplen el curso son elegibles para aplicar a estudiar por su
equivalencia de la diploma del colegia. La parroquia ofrece
una beca para estudiar! Hable con el Padre.
Campamento para niños: La Sociedad de San Vicente
ofrece una oportunidad para unos niños (4-14 anos) participan
en Cathedral Camp. Para mayor información, hable con

Consejo Hispano Diocesano: los miembros del Consejo
Hispano de la Diócesis se van a reunir el sábado 28 de junio al
mediodía en el sótano.
Renovación Carismática: El grupo invita a las parejas a
“Charlas de Parejas” dadas por Elder Mendoza en la casa de
Denis y Yanina Rodríguez, 143 Coffin Street, los sábados 46PM. Para mas información, hablen con un miembro del

Caridades Católicas: El Apelo del año 2014 termino el día
martes y el total de este año era $17,912.

Caballeros de Colon: Los hombres de grupo se
van a reunir el lunes 30 de junio en el sótano a
las 7:30 PM después de la Misa. El asunto será
planificar el proyecto para el comedor en San
Antonio. Nuevos miembros están invitados.
Maestra/o de Español: Las escuelas católicas están en busca
de un maestro/una maestro de español para los niños de
primaria. El/Ella debe ser bilingüe. Los interesados pueden
hablar con el Padre Pregana o la directora de la escuela de
Todos los Santos, Sue Massoud.
Beisbol: Los Red Sox van a ofrecer una Noche
Catolica en el Parque Fenway el 29 de julio. Los
boletos son de $30 y $55 (sin transporte). Ellos
juegan con los Blue Jays esta noche. Para mayor información,
