Pennies for PBIS
STUDENTS, it’s time to
bring in pennies that you
have been collecting!
Gatorade jugs will be in
each classroom to fill up!
The class who brings in the most pennies
will win a popcorn party on April 15th. The
last day to collect pennies will be on Thursday
April 14th. Thank you for your support.
Testing -
All CFISD elementary students take these assessments
as a way to determine their knowledge of skills and abilities as it
relates to the curriculum. The following dates, grade levels and
subjects involved in testing are as follows:
APRIL 11th – 3rd/4th Gr. Math (Benchmark)
Please Remember:
√ No tutoring or homework the week of May 9-13.
√ No Visitors or Volunteers on Testing Days for all grade levels.
√ No Before/After School activities during the week of STAAR
testing
Parents, you can help your child be prepared for testing
by helping them to get a good night’s rest and eat a nutritious protein
breakfast. Remember, breakfast is served every morning at 7:50 am
in the cafeteria. If you are scheduling medical or dental appointments,
please try to avoid the testing days.

2016 – 2017 Pre-Registration for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
will be on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 between 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
The book fair raises money for our library to buy
new books, purchase reading incentive prizes,
and host author visits. We ask that parents not
pull students from class to go to the book fair.
This year we will only be accepting CASH or
CREDIT CARDS. No personal checks will be
accepted. Thank you so much for helping to
make our Spring Book Fair a success!
