It was quite successful. Your support and prayers are much appreciated. SPIRITUAL ACTIVITIES ~FROM THE RECTOR~ Recently we had an update/new training for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. Our purpose was to recruit new ministers while at the same time bring all current E.M.H.C.’s up-to-date on procedures for distribution of Holy Communion. Although quite a few people signed up and were selected, some Masses still do not have a sufficient number of E.M.H.C’s to distribute under both species. In order to ensure that there are enough ministers to distribute both species, the following procedure is now in place: E.M.H.C.’s are to arrive before Mass and indicate on the schedule in the Sacristy that they are present. If by the time Mass is ready to begin, the Celebrant notices there are not enough ministers to distribute both species, the Precious Blood will not be distributed at that Mass. God bless you all and thank you for understanding.
