Under his visit to Lima, the
Mayor of Mexico City, Dr. Miguel
Angel Mancera, met with the
President of Peru, Ollanta
Humala Tasso. In the Cáceres
Room of the Government Palace,
both shared points of view on
topics such as the increase on
the minimum wage, mobility,
security, health and highways.
In addition, they discussed the
expansion and deepening of
the economic and cultural links
between Mexico City and Peru,
as well as the mechanisms of
cooperation to obtain higher
benefits, considering the
common elements in the history
of both societies.
 CDMX will coordinate REDCISUR
Mexico City will be in charge of the South
American Cities Network (REDCISUR)
Coordination. This network includes the cities
of Lima, Quito, Buenos Aires, Sucre, Asunción,
Santiago, Bogotá, Montevideo, La Paz and
Mexico City.
 CDMX seeks ratification
of the Sister City Agreement
with Quito
The Mayor of Mexico City, Dr. Miguel Ángel
Mancera, and the Mayor of Quito, Mauricio
Rodas, subscribed a joint declaration with the
intention to ratify the Sister City Agreement
between the two cities.
