Condo Association 12 participates in our county's Recycling Program. Single
family dwellings each have their own recycle bin for individual use. Multi-story
buildings have a recycle bin on each floor, as well as several in the first floor
garbage room.
Recycle bins are emptied each Wednesday. If you live in a multi-story building,
please place all recyclables in the bin on your floor. If that bins is full, bring your
items down to the extra bins on the first floor. All recyclables can be co-mingled
in our recycle bins. If you have cardboard boxes, we ask that you break down and
flatten all boxes. This will leave room for smaller items in the bins.
Publix has recycle bins in front of their stores. You can recycle plastic bags, egg
cartons and other Styrofoam items there.
Please wash off recyclable items before putting them in our bins. Waste
Management Company reminds us that pizza boxes with bits of food on them,
take-out boxes with food stains or bits of food are NOT recyclable. Please just
throw those items away. Rotting food will attract unwanted insects. We do not
expect our cleaning staff to handle unwashed containers. Also, do not put
recyclables in plastic bags.
Thanks for recycling. By doing so, we have decreased the number of garbage
bins we pay for each month. Recycling is the RIGHT thing to do!
Here is a list of items that can and cannot be recycled. Please take the time to
read it and follow these guidelines.

ALL OTHERS USE RECYCLING TOTES IN DUMPSTER ROOM.
ALL RECYCLABLES CAN BE CO-MINGLED.
ACCEPTED RECYCLABLES INCLUDE:
PLASTIC BOTTLES/JUGS
ALUMINUM/STEEL CANS
GLASS BOTTLES/JARS
MILK/JUICE CARTONS
ALL PAPER/CARDBOARD
PLEASE FLATTEN CARDBOARD BOXES AND PLACE LARGE BOXES
AGAINST WALL BEHIND TOTES ON FIRST FLOOR
PLEASE RINSE OUT ALL CONTAINERS TO REDUCE SMELL AND
BUGS.
OTHERRECYCLABESSUCHASHAZARDOUSWASTEAND
ELECTRONICS CAN BE DISPOSED OF AT RECYCLING EVENTS AND
SHOULD NOT BE PLACED IN THE DUMPSTER.

STYROFOAM TRAYS AND EGG CARTONS
THE DUMPSTERS SHOULD BE USED FOR FOOD WASTE , TAKEOUT
CONTAINERS STAINED WITH FOOD WASTE AND TRASH THAT IS
NOT RECYCLABLE.

DESECHARSE EXCLUSIVAMENTE EN LOS CONTENEDORES DE RECICLAJE EVITANDO USAR LOS
CONTENEDORES DE BASURA.
