Community Campfire
Our Community Campfire Programs Canyon Park
are in full swing! The evening is full
of interpretive nature stories, activities, and get-up-and-move campfire
songs. Head straight to the park with
your friends, family, and good cheer.
We provide the rest including a roaring
campfire and marshmallows. Meet at
the Grotto Amphitheater. 1.5 hours
Thur. August 4th, 6pm Teaming Up for Summer
Bring your friends and family for our
group races, team building challenge,
and lots more summer fun. Meet at
the Grotto Amphitheater. 1.5 hrs.
Wed. August 10th, 7pm Community Campfire
With a full moon around the corner,
it’s a perfect night for a campfire. See
8/3 for details.
Thur. August 11th, 6pm
Nature Olympics
Compete for the gold in this Olympic sized nature activity. Test your
knowledge about local animals, the
fire triangles, watersheds, and lots
more while you race around the obstacle course to the finish line. This is
your chance to reach for the gold as a
nature Olympian. Meet at the Grotto
Amphitheater. 1.5 hours
This is an oasis of nature nestled in the
Santa Monica Mountains of Malibu.
We’ll spend a wonderful day with lots of
activities and leisure time under the Sycamore trees. Bring your picnic lunch.
Meet the bus at the park at 8:45 am
for departure at 9 am.
Wed. August 17th, 7pm
Community Campfire
How do you like your marshmallow;
light brown and squishy or crispy
burned? With a summer of practice,
let’s see who can roast the most perfect marshmallow. See 8/3 for details.
Wed. August 24th, 7pm Last Community Campfire
We are wrapping up our summer
campfires tonight with all the trimmings. We hope to see you at all our
other programs throughout the year.

Night Sky Watching on a
New Moon
A new moon night is the very best for
night sky viewing when the sky is at
its darkest. Take advantage of being
in the park at night to get a special
view of the stars and hear the stories that surround them. Meet at the
Grotto Amphitheater. 1.5 hours

Fogatas en Comunidad
Nuestros programas de fogatas están
en plena marcha! La noche está llena
de historias, actividades y canciones
graciosas. Dirigirse directamente al
parque con sus amigos, familiares,
y buen humor. Nosotros ofrecemos
el resto una fogata y malvaviscos.
Se reúnen en el Anfiteatro/Gruta. 1.5

Jueves 4 de agosto, 6pm
Trabajando en equipo este
verano
Trae a tus amigos y familiares para
nuestras carreras en grupo, trabaja en
equipo para sobrepasar retos, y más
diversiones del verano. Se reúnen en
el Anfiteatro/Gruta. 2 horas
Miércoles 10 de agosto 7pm
Fogatas en Comunidad
Con la luna llena a la vuelta de la
esquina, es una noche perfecta para
una hoguera. Más detalles en la
descripción de 8/3.
Jueves 11 de agosto, 6pm
Juegos Olímpicos de la
naturaleza
Compite por el oro en esta actividad
de tamaño olímpico. Pon a prueba tus
conocimientos sobre los animales, el
triangulo de fuego, el agua y mucho
mas mientras sigues la carrera
alrededor de la pista de obstáculos
hasta la meta. Esta es su oportunidad
para llegar por el oro como un olímpico
de la naturaleza. Se reúnen en el
Anfiteatro/Gruta. 1.5 horas

Como llegar al Parque.
Sur en el 101 Freeway:
Salida Glendale Blvd/Union. Gire a
la derecha y luego de vuelta a mano
izquierda en la calle Temple St. Dar
vuelta a mano derecha en N. Beaudry
Ave. y dar vuelta a mano derecha en 1st
St. continue en la pista de la derecha(no
suba por la pista del medio), dar vuelta
a la derecha en la calle Toluca y luego
voltee inmediatamente a la derecha en la
entrada del area de estacionamiento.
Este es un oasis de la naturaleza
situado en las montañas de Santa
Mónica de Malibu. Vamos a pasar
un día maravilloso con un montón de
actividades y disfrutar de un momento
tranquilo bajo los árboles. Asegúrese
de llevar su almuerzo. El autobús
estará en el parque a las 8:45am para
la salida a las 9 am.
¿Cómo te gusta el malvavisco,
de color marrón claro y blando o
crujiente y quemado? Con un verano
de práctica, vamos a ver quién puede
asar el malvavisco más perfecto. Más
detalles en la descripción de 8/3.

Última noche de Fogatas
en Comunidad, 7pm
Estamos terminando nuestro verano
de fogatas esta noche con todos los
adornos. Esperamos verlo en todos
nuestros otros programas durante
todo el año. 1.5 horas

Aventuras en el Agua
Vamos a celebrar con el agua en
esta tarde de verano. No hay nada
tan divertido como mojarse y pasar
un buen rato con nuestros juegos y
actividades acuáticas. Se reúnen en
el Anfiteatro de la Gruta. 1,5 hora
