at SITGES 2010
The 43rd SITGES –International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, that will take place 7 to
17 October, presents its lineup for the Noves Visions section:
NOVES VISIONS – FICCIÓ SECTION
Exploration of new territories in narration, placing emphasis on both thematic and
formal aspects of films that are a vision of the present as well as a disturbing
premonition of times to come.
NOVES VISIONS - DARK FICCIÓ SECTION
New this year, a selection of auteur films committed to explaining the darkest side of
the human being and of other beings that aren’t so human, but from positions that are
somewhat distant from conventional genre.
NOVES VISIONS - NO FICCIÓ SECTION
The spectator penetrates new fields in documentaries and their relationship with fiction
and the genre´s continuous debate on reality.
NOVES VISIONS – DISCOVERY SECTION
The Festival makes it clear that it is constantly committed to works from production teams that are
fans of what we know as “guerrilla cinema”, with leading filmmakers who pose daring formal and
conceptual approaches from an absolute and accepted independence.

poco alejadas del género convencional.
