1. How often do I experience the joy of the gospel? How can a desire to protect my personal
interests, concerns, and possessions inhibit this joy?
2. What is my most recent encounter with God's love? How does it give meaning to my life?
3. Pope Francis says the task of evangelization is "the source of authentic personal fulfillment." Is
that how you view evangelization? Why or why not?

1. Can you recall a time when you accomplished something wonderful, only to realize that God
was at work and he enabled your success? How often do you tackle a difficult task, knowing
that God will be at your side to help you succeed?
2. How do you help your spouse, children, and extended family find Jesus? When was the last time
you talked about Jesus with them?
3. How can I help my parish reach out to those who have not found faith in Jesus? Can I recount
any recent success in brining someone outside the faith to RCIA, Bible study, youth ministry, or a
similar outreach?
4. Why must evangelization be part of every activity we undertake? How do you see this unfolding
in your life?

3. I invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment, to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus
Christ, or at least an openness to letting him encounter them; I ask all of you to do this unfailingly each
day. No one should think that this invitation is not meant for him or her, since “no one is excluded from
the joy brought by the Lord”.
6. There are Christians whose lives seem like Lent without Easter. I realize of course that joy is not
expressed the same way at all times in life, especially at moments of great difficulty. Joy adapts and
changes, but it always endures, even as a flicker of light born of our personal certainty that, when
everything is said and done, we are infinitely loved. I understand the grief of people who have to endure
great suffering, yet slowly but surely we all have to let the joy of faith slowly revive as a quiet yet firm
trust, even amid the greatest distress: “My soul is bereft of peace; I have forgotten what happiness is…
But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his
mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness… It is good that
one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord” (Lam 3:17, 21-23, 26).

1. Que tan seguido experimento la alegría del Evangelio? Como puede mi deseo de proteger mis
intereses personales preocupaciones y posesiones impide esta alegría?
2. Cuál es mi más reciente encuentro con el Amor de Dios? Como este le da significado a mi vida?
3. El Papa Francisco dice que la tarea de evangelización es “la Fuente de la auténtica satisfacción
personal.” Es así como usted considera evangelización? Por qué o porque no?

1. Pueden recordar alguna vez cuando usted haya logrado realizar algo maravilloso solo para darse
cuenta que fue Dios quien intervino y le habilito su éxito? Que tan seguido usted emprende una
tarea difícil, sabiendo que Dios estará a su lado para ayudarle a tener éxito?
2. Como ayuda a su esposo(a), hijos(as) y familia extendida a encontrar a Jesús? Cuando fue la
última vez que usted le hablo acerca de Jesús con ellos?
3. Como puedo ayudar a mi parroquia alcázar aquellos que no han encontrado la fe en Jesús?
Puedo contar algún suceso reciente donde haya traído alguien afuera de la fe a grupos como
RICA, estudio de Biblia, ministro de jóvenes, o un evento similar?
4. Por qué la evangelización tiene que ser parte de toda actividad que emprendamos? Como ve
usted esto sea parte de su vida?

3. Invito a cada cristiano, en cualquier lugar y situación en que se encuentre, a renovar ahora mismo su
encuentro personal con Jesucristo o, al menos, a tomar la decisión de dejarse encontrar por Él, de
intentarlo cada día sin descanso. No hay razón para que alguien piense que esta invitación no es para él,
porque «nadie queda excluido de la alegría reportada por el Señor»
6. Hay cristianos cuya opción parece ser la de una Cuaresma sin Pascua. Pero reconozco que la alegría
no se vive del mismo modo en todas las etapas y circunstancias de la vida, a veces muy duras. Se adapta
y se transforma, y siempre permanece al menos como un brote de luz que nace de la certeza personal
de ser infinitamente amado, más allá de todo. Comprendo a las personas que tienden a la tristeza por
las graves dificultades que tienen que sufrir, pero poco a poco hay que permitir que la alegría de la fe
comience a despertarse, como una secreta pero firme confianza, aun en medio de las peores angustias:
«Me encuentro lejos de la paz, he olvidado la dicha […] Pero algo traigo a la memoria, algo que me hace
esperar. Que el amor del Señor no se ha acabado, no se ha agotado su ternura. Mañana tras mañana se
renuevan. ¡Grande es su fidelidad! […] Bueno es esperar en silencio la salvación del Señor» (Lm 3,17.2123.26).
