RCIA “RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS"
Do you wish to become a Catholic but do not know how to begin?
Do you have questions or are you curious about the Catholic faith?
Do you know someone, your spouse perhaps, who has expressed an
interest in the Faith?
Come join us for inquiry in the RCIA process, (Rite of Christian
Initiation for Adults) beginning on Wednesday October 5, in the Serra

BIBLE STUDY
- ACTS: The Good News of the Holy Spirit
First Session - THURSDAY, OCTOBER 13,
7:00-8:30 pm in the SERRA CENTER
Acts, is the story of the birth of the church. In Acts, Jesus
departs, the Spirit descends, and a dynamic new faith is
born. We will be exploring the recently acquired Loyola
Press Study Guides.
This is a 6-session course; meeting twice monthly on the second and fourth
Thursdays of each month. Each session lasts 90 minutes. Cost of materials for
the course is $10. Signups are at the parish office.
Come join us as we explore the foundations of our faith.
ARISE TOGETHER IN CHRIST BEGINS—
You are invited to sign-up for a small faith sharing group that will begin
in the week of October 2. If you are already in a group you don’t need
to sign up again—just let your group leader know that you want to
participate this season. If you would like to join a group or lead a group,
you can still sign-up. There will be six faith sharing sessions that invite
us to journey “We are the good News.”

La colecta para el respeto a la vida apoya el trabajo esencial de la
Oficina del Respeto a la Vida. Su misión es educar transmitiendo el
mensaje de la santidad de la vida desde su concepción hasta la muerte
natural, crea conciencia de los ataques a la dignidad humana inherentes
en las maldades del aborto, el infanticidio, la eutanasia y la pena de
muerte; advierte a toda la gente sobre la necesidad de cambiar la
presente situación estableciendo leyes que salvaguarden el derecho a la
vida, y proveer un cuidado pastoral que incluya publicidad con materiales para atender las necesidad espirituales y educacionales más allá de
aquellas disponibles en la comunidad.
