First Sunday of Lent/Primer Domingo de Cuaresma ST. MARY: STAR OF THE SEA CHURCH FREEPORT, TEXAS _____February 22, 2015 /22 de Febrero 2015 Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark 1:12-15. Evangelio según San Marcos 1,1215. The Spirit drove Jesus out into the desert, and he remained in the desert for forty days, tempted by Satan. He was among wild beasts, and the angels ministered to him. After John had been arrested, Jesus came to Galilee proclaiming the gospel of God: "This is the time of fulfillment. The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel." Women’s Acts Retreat Saint Joseph Catholic Church 1907 Carolina Street Baytown, Texas March 19-22, 2015 Congratulations to our newly elect. Cost is $225.
