Beloved Pastors and brethren,
Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I recall and affirm the
words written by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:10, “But by the grace of God I am what I
am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly
than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
By the Lord´s grace we won the Orjuela family to Christ and immediately began the work of
direct discipleship. Orlando comes from a terrible experience with a group of Mormons and
before that with the Jehova´s Witnesses, but praise the Lord he let me share the Gospel truth
with him.
Ephesians 5:20, ”Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ;” I really do thank the Lord, though we were victims last 9th of February of an
armed robbery of our car, but we thank God that no one´s life was lost.
It has truly been difficult these last few days as I have struggled with the fact that our work is
greatly hindered, since the car was an important tool for us in evangelism and for our family as
well. Nonetheless, I thank the Lord because He is good. The situation could have been much
worse, but God protected us with His right hand.
I don´t usually make a specific plea for help because I believe that the Lord places the desire to
help in people and churches, but on this occasion I would beg you to consider if the Lord would
want you to help us get another car.
Unfortunately, here in Colombia cars are very expensive because of the import duties and taxes.
It is not like the U.S. or Panama where you can get a good car for one or two thousand dollars.
In many cases a car may seem to be a luxury, but in our case because of the distances in a
country this large, and the high costs of public transport, it is a real need.

para enseñar también a otros.” 2 timoteo 2:2.
That is the reason that I am appealing for your help with this need.
