RESEARCH GROUPS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MALAGA
INTRODUCTION
The research group Teachers, Culture and Educational Institution, of the Department of School Organisation and
Didactics of the Faculty of Education Science conducts studies about the school experience of students,
teaching staff and parents with the aim to identify and implement improvements in the democratic schools from
the narrative analysis and biogeographical analysis. In order to develop collaborative strategies and partnerships
for guarantee valuable and reliable results, the group collaborates closely with schools of primary and
secondary education. The multidisciplinary and international group founded in 1995, counts today 20 members.
Actual academic investigation is centred on the study of individuals in an environment of marginalization and
social risk.
