Tuxtla - San
Cristobal de
las Casas
Arrival to the airport in Tuxtla Gutierrez and transfer to the hotel at San
Cristobal de las Casas.
Optional if passengers arrives before 13:00 hrs, passengers can take the
Sumidero Canyon boat ride.

San Cristobal
de las Casas
Breakfast. Visit to the city of San Cristobal de las Casas, later we will take a trip
to the mountains to visit the towns inhabited by the Tzotzil population in San
Juan Chamula and Zinacantan. We may see the mixture of Christian traditions
with the Pre Columbian roots that these people still preserve.
San Cristobal
Breakfast. In the morning, departure from San Cristobal de las Casas to Agua

- Agua Azul Palenque
Azul waterfalls. Its indigo colored waters, its green vegetation and the peaceful
sound of water falling, make of this, an unforgettable site. Afterwards departure
to Palenque, and accommodations in the hotel (8 hrs.)
Palenque
Box Lunch for breakfast. Through the Lacandon Jungle we will get inside two
mysterious Mayan sites: Yaxchilan and Bonampak. These places are famous
due to their sculptoric art in steles and thresholds. To built them, the Mayan
took advantage of the features of a peninsula surrounded by a river. Yaxchilan
is a city developed between the years of 350 and 810 a.C. Here we may
appreciate the dynastic story of the city told on the thresholds and steles of the
site. On the other hand, Bonampak was a ceremonial center built in the heart
of the jungle, whose splendor stage happened during the government of
Jaguar-Eye, approximately in the year 743 a.C. Here we may see not only the
steles, but also the beauty of the Lacandon natural wonders (13 hrs.)
Palenque Campeche
Breakfast. Palenque is one of the most impressing zones among the cities from
the Mayan classical period; being the only city whose foundations were tombs.
We will have the opportunity of seeing the Inscriptions Pyramid where the tomb
of the King Pakal was located; also the Pyramid number XIII where in the
nineties, archaeologists found the famous tomb of the Red Queen. We will also
admire the Palace that was the main house of the rulers of the city with its
observatory tower. We will also see the Cross group and the roof combs which
were characteristic only in this site. Lunch included.
Option a) In the evening, departure in Public Bus to Campeche. Bus to
Campeche leaves at 21:00 hrs. Arrival to Campeche at 02:30 am
Option b) Visit to Palenque with lunch and on to Campeche. IN PRIVATE.
Campeche
Breakfast. Edzna. This site was surrounded by an impressing hydraulic
engineering system, formed by channels, cisterns, tanks and chultunes underground containers to keep and channel rain water. This was a very
important city that was born approximately between 600 and 300 b.C to
become with time, the Capital city of the region until the 7th to 10th Centuries
a.C. The buildings we're about to see tell us about the greatness of the site;
The Five Stories Pyramid, Nohochna - The Big House, The Masks Temple with
the Kinich Ahau Mask. Lunch included (4 hrs.)

Campeche UxmalMerida
Breakfast. Departure to Uxmal, another important city from the Mayans. Its
name means three times built, because it had three constructions from different
historical moments. We will see the famous Diviner Temple, The Nuns'
Quadrangle, and the Governor's Palace. We will see the masks from God
Chaac and the famous Mayan Vault. On to Mérida. Before arriving to the hotel,
we will do a short panoramical visit to the city of Merida. Arrival to the hotel and
accommodations.

Merida Chichen Itza Cancun
Breakfast. Chichen Itza. We will visit the most famous and visited Mayan city. It
was founded in 514 a.C by the Priest named Itzamna. This city of Toltecan
influences has one of the biggest Ball Game fields in Mesoamerica. We will

visit the Observatory, Kukulkan's Pyramid, also known as the Castle. We will
see the Jaguars Temple and the Sacred Cenote. Our trip will be watched over
by the famous Chac Mool located beside the Thousand Columns Palace. After
lunch we will go to Cancun, to the chosen hotel.
Note:
The price does not include flight tickets. Bus ticket from Palenque to
Campeche is not included in the Price.
