2ND SUNDAY OF ADVENT
MAINTENACE AND REPAIR
This weekend, the Second Collection is our Maintenance
& Repair Collection. These funds help with the r epair
and restoration of the parish buildings. Thank you for your
generosity and support.
CHRISTMAS GIFT TO YOUR CHURCH
Everyone is looking for the perfect gift for family members and
friends. Please don’t forget your Church. On Sunday, December 13th, the Second Collection will be your gift to the par ish. Would you consider making a donation of $50 or more to
your Church at Christmas? If you are a registered parishioner,
please use the designated envelope enclosed in your packet.
There are also envelopes in the Church for the use of any family that may not be registered. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
A NEW MANGER FOR OUR CHURCH
Blessed Sacrament wants to thank every single parishioner
that helped us, monetarily, to create a new Nativity Set to
decorate the outside of our Church during the Christmas
Season. As you can see, it is a beautiful Manger and shows,
in a colorful way, the real meaning of Christmas.
OUR LADY OF LA NUBE GROUP
The La Nube Committee will be accepting any contribution
that will help them to raise funds for their Annual Celebration
on January 1st, 2016.

On Wednesday, December 9th, 2015, in commemoration of
the Y ear of Mercy proclaimed by Pope Francis, Blessed Sacrament will have an English Holy Hour at 7:00pm. Rev.

THE YEAR OF MERCY
"Jesus Christ is the face of the Father's Mercy." With these words Pope
Francis begins the bull of Induction of the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy. The Holy Year will begin on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, December 8th, 2015, and close on the Solemnity of Christ the
King, November 20th, 2016. Pope F rancis is calling the church to the
essentials of the faith. His message can be summed up in three words:
mercy, tenderness, "I am a sinner." the papal documents says, "Mercy: the
fundamental law that dwells in the heart of every person who looks sincerely into the eyes of his brothers and sisters on the path of life. Mercy:
the bridge that connects God and man, opening our hearts to a hope of
being loved forever despite our sinfulness" (n. 2). We will have ample
occasion to reflect on the many facets of God’s mercy during the Jubilee
Year, but I was particularly drawn to what the Pope says about the relationship between justice and mercy: "It would not be out of place at this
point to recall the relationship between justice and mercy. These are not
two contradictory realities, but tow dimensions of a single reality that
unfolds progressively until it culminates in the fullness of love. We need
to recall that in the Sacred Scripture, justice is conceived essentially as
the faithful abandonment of oneself to God's will."

REGALO DE NAVIDAD A SU IGLESIA
Es tiempo de buscar el regalo perfecto para cada miembro
de la familia y amistades. Por favor no se olviden de su
Iglesia. El Domingo 13 de Diciembre, la Segunda Colecta
es el regalo para su Iglesia y les solicito consideren hacer
un obsequio de $50 o más esta navidad. Si usted es un feligrés inscrito en la Iglesia por favor use el sobre que llega

UN NUEVO PESEBRE PARA LA IGLESIA
La Iglesia del Santísimo Sacramento agradece a cada uno
de los feligreses que colaboraron en forma monetaria para
montar el nuevo Pesebre que decora la parte externa de la
Iglesia en esta Navidad. Como pueden ver, es un pesebre
muy hermoso y muestra, de una forma colorida, el sentido
Navideño.
NOCHE DE LAS VELITAS
La Iglesia del Santísimo Sacramento les invita a
participar de una Misa especial siguiendo la
tradición Colombiana de la “Noche de la Velas”.

2. John Hoare, hermano de Padre Richard Hoare falleció el 1 de Diciembre del 2015.
Jesucristo es el rostro de la misericordia del Padre. "Con estas palabras,
Francisco comienza la bula de convocación del Jubileo extraordinario de
la Misericordia. El Año Santo comenzará en la Solemnidad de la Inmaculada Concepción 8 de diciembre de 2015, y se cierra en la Solemnidad
de Jesucristo Rey el 20 de Noviembre, del 2016.
El Papa Francisco está llamando a la iglesia a lo esencial de la fe. Su
mensaje puede resumirse en tres palabras: la misericordia, la ternura, "Yo
soy pecador". los documentos papales dicen: "Misericordia: la ley fundamental que habita en el corazón de cada persona que mira atentamente a
los ojos de sus hermanos y hermanas en el camino de la vida de la Misericordia:. el puente que une a Dios y al hombre, abriendo nuestros corazones a una esperanza de ser amado por siempre a pesar de nuestros pecados
"(n. 2). Tendremos amplia oportunidad para reflexionar sobre las muchas
facetas de Dios; s piedad durante el Año Jubilar, pero yo estaba especialmente atraído por lo que el Papa dice acerca de la relación entre la justicia
y la misericordia: "No estaría fuera de lugar en este momento recordar la
relación entre la justicia y la misericordia. Estos no son dos realidades
contradictorias, pero las dimensiones de remolque de una misma realidad
que se desarrolla progresivamente hasta culminar en la plenitud del amor.
Tenemos que recordar que en la Sagrada Escritura, la justicia se concibe
esencialmente como los fieles abandono de uno mismo a la voluntad de
Dios ".

for Kindergarten beginning December 2nd.
