We want to thank everyone who participated in the Triduum, Easter Vigil, and Easter Sunday Masses. We
appreciate your dedication and patience, especially during this joyful and perhaps a little stressful time. The
altar was beautiful and we would like to thank Jeanne and all the altar care ladies who came early Saturday
morning to put the flowers in the Sanctuary and Narthex for the Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday Masses. Thank
you to all the priests, deacons, altar servers, extraordinary ministers of communion, lectors, ushers, music ministers and choir members, including their lead coordinators for scheduling and contacting everyone. Thank you
to the RCIA / RICA team leaders for their presence this past year and for assisting wherever they were needed
during the Easter Vigil. Thank you to the Women of St. Mark and Christian Family Movement for hosting our
reception, for soliciting dozens and dozens of cookies for our newly initiated Catholics and their families, and
for arranging for volunteers to set-up, serve, and clean-up after the reception. And on a final note, we would
thank our maintenance people/department for being there as needed throughout the weekend, so the Church
was clean and ready for our early Easter Sunday morning Masses.
In order to meet the needs of a parish community the size and diversity of St. Mark, it takes a significant number of people —
volunteers— to make it all come together. And like pieces of a puzzle, if one is missing, the puzzle is not complete. It takes each and
every one of us, with our own unique gifts and talents, to complete the puzzle. We cannot say it enough or often enough, how much
we appreciate the hard work of all our parish volunteers. Not only do our volunteers give generously of their time, talent, and treasure, they receive no monetary compensation for what they do, yet they remain faithful to the ministry they are called to. They give
over and over again because of their deep desire to give back to the parish community, their parish community, St. Mark the Evangelist. To all our volunteers: WE THANK YOU AND APPRECIATE ALL YOU DO FOR THE COMMUNITY OF ST. MARK THE EVANGELIST.
SET-UP SQUAD! AN EXCITING NEW VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY AT ST. MARK!
Is teaching not really your thing? Do you prefer to put some sweat into your volunteer work? Do you have a
variable schedule and need flexibility with your volunteering? We have a great opportunity for you to give of
your time and talent.
St. Mark is in need of volunteers to join our Set-Up Squad. This group will help set up rooms with chairs, tables,
etc for the different needs of the many ministries that meet on our campus. Whenever set up is needed for a
meeting or class, the Set-Up Coordinator will contact you for availability.

donate their service or to give a charitable contribution.
In doing so, those attending the event — as many as 300
from the North Dallas area — will know that you are a
quality organization that shares our vision of strong,
happy and healthy families.
