Students are allowed to use approved tools and manipulatives. Refer to your Directions for Administration manual (DFA)

The CD Reader will instruct students to raise their hands if they would like any of the approved tools.
El botón “Session 1 Intro” (Introducción a la sesión 1) los guiará a través de las instrucciones y las preguntas de
ejemplo. Cuando estén preparados para comenzar con la evaluación, hagan clic en el botón “Session 1 Test”

During the Directions and Sample Question section of the Translated CD, students will be prompted to raise their hand if
TA assistance is needed. TAs are allowed to answer students’ questions about how to navigate the assessment. Do not
answer specific questions about the assessment and do not review test questions or students responses to test questions.
Actively monitor that students are working independently.
Write today’s date and the student working time on the board as “Break Time: _____.”
From this point forward TAs must refer to the Directions to the Student section of the Off-Grade Level Science Assessment
TAM to provide students with final directions. These directions will begin at the first break. You will need to have students
pause the CD to take breaks at the appropriate times.
