children will sing, we will distribute diplomas, and then
everyone will enjoy refreshments. If you have questions,
please speak to the teachers.

event! This event is

Puma Cubs Site in Belmont.
We will travel by Footsteps
vans. We will leave by 9:30
AM and return by 11:45 AM. Please make sure you sign
and return the Permission Slip so your child can attend
this special event.

ACTIVIDADES Y EVENTOS EN MAYO
We had many activities
in May. A volunteer
from the Redwood City
Library joined us on
Fridays to read stories.
We enjoyed a field trip
to the History Museum
in Redwood City where
the children made an ocean in a bottle, looked at ships,
rode in a buggy. Thank you to our moms who joined us
and helped. The children learned about their five senses
and how each is important to daily life. We did art, crafts,

sensory activities, science, math, rhyming words, and
letters sounds.
Hemos tenido muchas actividades como una voluntaria de
la Biblioteca de Redwood City que vino a leer a los ninos
cada viernes. Los ninos disfrutaron del paseo al Museo de
Historia en el centro de Redwood City. Agradecemos a
las madres que se ofrecieron a acompanarnos y a
ayudarnos en este paseo.
Nuestro tema en mayo fue nuestros cinco sentidos y los
ninos reconocieron cada uno de estos y lo importante que
estos son en nuestra vida diaria. Hicimos arte, ciencias,
plantamos flores, actividades sensoriales (jugaron con
agua, split pea, corn starch con agua, etc.) Tambien
matematicas, lenguaje, vocabulario y mas.
JUNE ACTIVITIES
ACTIVIDADES EN JUNIO
Our June theme is Community Helpers! We will have a
guest a Police Officer visit our Center and two parents
from our site to talk to our kids. The children always are
curious about community helpers and the role each plays
in our society. They will learn more in a dramatic play by
pretending to be a doctor, nurse, teacher, cook, policeman,
firefighter, farmer, etc. The children will continue to learn
and review academic skills such as science, language,
vocabulary, math, social, etc.
Nuestro tema de junio es: Trabajadores Comunitarios y
contaremos con un visitante policia que vendra a hablar
con los ninos. Asi tambien una mama y un papa de dos de
nuestros ninos vendran a informarles a ellos acerca de sus
ocupaciones y el papel desempenan en nuestra sociedad.
Los ninos aprenden jugando y a ellos les gusta vestirse de
policias, doctores, bomberos, etc. Tambien continuaremos
aprendiendo y repasando letras y vocabulario,
matematicas, ciencias y mas.
