1er Día (Sábado): La tradición de libertad civil y religiosa de Pennsylvania atrajo personas
de muchos lugares y su mano de obra ha convertido los recursos del estado en vastas
industrias. Nuestra excursión estará enfocada en los descendientes de los primeros colonos
alemanes que se establecieron en la región, los Amish, quienes vinieron en 1683 buscando
libertad religiosa. Nuestro programa incluye una visita al mercado tradicional “Kitchen
Kettle Village”, la Galería de Vinos Mount Hope, un delicioso almuerzo estilo Amish, y la
Casa de Campo Amish. De ahí, partiremos hacia Harrisburg, capital de Pennsylvania donde
haremos un breve recorrido por la ciudad destacando el Capitolio Estatal y seguidamente
continuaremos a nuestro hotel para su descanso.
2do Día (Domingo): Después del desayuno visitaremos las Cavernas Indian Echo, donde
tendremos un tour narrado por Guías locales, y compras en la tienda de regalos. De ahí,
saldremos hacia Hershey, PA fundado en 1903 por Milton Snavely Hershey, un industrial y
filántropo. Pasaremos la tarde en el parque de diversión Hershey Park gozando de sus
innumerables Montañas Rusas, Juegos, espectáculos y entretenimientos. Ese día recuerde
vestir ropa y zapatos cómodos. En la noche regresaremos a Nueva York, llegando
aproximadamente a las 9:00 PM.

1st Day (Saturday): Few states can equal Pennsylvania’s wealth of natural resources, it’s
diversity of landscape, or it’s contributions to United States history. Pennsylvania’s tradition of
civil and religious freedom have attracted people of many lands. Our tour will focus on the decedents
of early German Dutch settler’s, the Amish, who came to the U.S. in 1683, seeking religious freedom.
Information will be provided concerning the area, it’s history, it’s people, with special emphasis
on the respectful consideration of the Amish and their customs. Our program includes a visit to
Kitchen Kettle Village, Mount Hope Wine Gallery, Amish style lunch and the Amish Farm House.
After this last visit we depart to Pennsylvania’s capitol in the city of Harrisburg for a short visit
before checking into your hotel for the evening.
2nd Day (Sunday): The second half of your weekend we visit Indian Echo Caverns. After our
guided tour, we go to Hershey, PA founded in 1903 by Milton Snavely Hershey, a confectioner
philanthropist. Born in Dauphin, PA in 1857; Milton Hershey built up a huge chocolate industry. One
of his many ventures and where we will spend the afternoon enjoying dozens of amusement rides,
shows and entertainment is Hershey Park. Dress comfortably. In the Evening you will enjoy a relaxing
ride back to New York. Arrival is scheduled for approximately 9:00 PM.
