– Soluble in turpentine (spirits of
turpentine).
– Encaustic on hot metal.
– Can be combined with
Neocolor II Water-soluble.

Painting and blending : Apply Neocolor I in layers. Spread the colour with turpentine to achieve subtle
graded tones and magnificent colour blends. Polish with a soft cloth.
Pintar y mezclar colores : Aplicar Neocolor I en capas. Extender el color con aguarrás hasta conseguir
ligeros tonos graduados y magníficas mezclas de color. Pulir con un paño suave.
Scraping : Apply a thick layer of clear Neocolor I onto smooth paper. Cover it with a thin layer of Acrylo.
Let it dry then scrape back the surface to create the design required.
Rascar : Aplicar una capa gruesa de Neocolor I claro sobre un papel suave. Cubrir con una capa fina de
Acrylo. Dejar secar y entonces rascar sobre la superficie para crear el dibujo deseado.
Encaustic : Place a sheet of heavy paper on a heated surface. Draw with Neocolor I, allowing the pastel to
melt. Work in any remaining bits with a spatula. Rubbing : Remove the label from the pastel, hold it flat
and rub over the surfaces or shapes. Colour with Neocolor I diluted with water.
Encáustico : Colocar una hoja de papel grueso sobre una superficie caliente. Dibujar con Neocolor I,
dejando que los pasteles se derritan. Trabajar los trocitos sobrantes con una espátula. Frotar : Eliminar la
etiqueta del pastel, aguantarla plana y frotar sobre las superficies o formas. Colorear con Neocolor I diluido
en agua.
Mixing: Mix the colours by laying light on dark Apply them vigorously to ensure a good mix. Create details
by scraping back the upper layers.
Mezclar: Mezclar los colores colocando colores claros sobre oscuros. A continuación, aplicar enérgicamente
para garantizar una buena mezcla. Crear detalles rascando sobre las capas superiores.
Templates : Apply Neocolor I around the edge of the template and spread the colour onto smooth paper
with a soft rubber. Coverage: Neocolor I (particularly the metallic colours) gives good, luminous coverage
even on dark paper.

wood, ceramics, glass, fabric and metal. Polish instead of varnishing.
