Verbo haber (there + be)

EL VERBO IMPERSONAL HABER
El Verbo Impersonal Haber (There + to Be) se considera como un solo verbo. Habla de la existencia o no existencia de algo, ya sea en presente, futuro o pasado.
Se suele usar en su forma conjugada, es decir, There is, There was, There will be, There has been.
!1. El verbo There + to Be se puede utilizar en todos los tiempos verbales.
2. Para sustantivos incontables usamos el singular: There is sugar/money/time. (normalmente con some/any)
3. El negativo de There + to Be siempre se forma agregando la palabra not (n’t). - There isn’t / aren’t , There will/won’t be
4. A menudo podemos encontrar el There to be con un verbo modal. En este caso, el verbo modal irá entre there y be. (There should be)
!Conjugación. La palabra there siempre estará presente en la estructura. Sin embargo, el verbo to be cambiará según el tiempo verbal.

There’s an exam tomorrow. (Hay un examen mañana)

There were many people at the concert.(Había mucha gente)
There used to be

There used to be a theatre here. It’s closed now.(Antes había un teatro aquí. Ahora está cerrado.)

There is going to be a concert next week. (Va a haber un concierto la semana que viene.)
There was/were going to be

There was going to be a meeting, but it was cancelled. (Iba a haber una reunión,…)

There has been a problem with the project.(Ha habido un problema con el proyecto.)

There hadn’t been any problem until now. (No había habido ningún problema hasta ahora.)
There would(n’t) be
Habría
There would be less people unemployed. (Habría menos gente desempleada.)

There wouldn’t have been any problem. (No habría habido ningún problema.)

Debería haber
There should be more parking spots in the centre. (Debería haber más aparcamientos en el centro.)
