riffletere sul dono della vita e dei carismi nella vita
religiosa. Impegniamoci nel recare ai fratelli la luce
della fede, che è Cristo.

Benvenuto, caro Padre!
Domenica, 2 Febbraio, Festa della Presentazione di Gesù
al Tempio. In questo giorno la Chiesa celebra anche la 18a
Giornata Mondiale della Vita Consacrata.
Una Messa Speciale sará celebrata dall’Arcivescovo
nella Cattedrale per tutti i Religiosi e Religiose della
diocesi alle 5:00 pm e alla quale siete tutti invitati.
Adorazione Eucaristica: Venerdì, 7 di Febbraio, dalle 3:00
alle 6:00 pm. Passate un momento de preghiera e
incontro col Signore.
Adorazione al Santissimo Sacramento: Lunedì 10—8:30
am Sta Messa, seguita dalla exposizione del Santissimo
fino alle 11 am. Martedì 11—3:00—6:15 pm Exposizione
e adorazione personale; 7:00—9:00 pm Prayer for
Vocations –Preghiera per le Vocazione con la
partecipazione dei gruppi parrocchiali. Mercoledì 12:
8:00 am Sta Messa, seguita dalla Exposizione del
Santissimo, concludendo con la solenne benedizione alle
6:00 pm.
La Giornata Mondiale dell’Ammalato sarà celebrata qui
ad OLOS con una Messa speciale presieduta
dall’Arcivescovo Miller il Martedì 11 Febbraio alle 11:00
am. Durante la messa il Sacramento dell’Unzione degli
infermi verrà amministrato a coloro che soffrono di
malattie serie o di età anziana. Rinfresco sarà servito dopo
la Messa in sala. Chiediamo a persone generose di
contribuire con dolci e biscotti. Grazie.

The Church celebrates World Day for Consecrated
Life. Let us give thanks especially for the gift of
Consecrated Life and for all who have responded
generously to God's call. Jesus’ words: "Go sell all that
you have and come follow me," (Mt 19:21) have inspired
countless men and women to a dedicated life of prayer &
service.

y mujeres a servir en el Reino de tu Hijo como hermanos,
hermanas, sacerdotes religiosos, vírgenes consagradas,
ermitaños y miembros de Institutos seculares. Renueva en

generosa y apasionadamente a tu voluntad. Te lo pedimos

World Day for Consecrated Life: The Mass will be at Holy
Rosary Cathedral on Sunday, February 2nd at 5:00 pm. All
are invited to attend and pray for this great gift from God.
Día Mundial de la Vida Consagrada: Habrá una Eucaristía
en la catedral el domingo 2 de feb. a las 5:00 pm. Todos
están invitados a participar y orar por este gran don.
Eucharistic Adoration: On Friday, Feb 7th there will be E.
Adoration from 3:00 to 6:00 pm; come & spend some
time in prayer before the Lord.
40 horas de Adoración Eucarística: Será los días lunes 10,
martes 11 y miércoles 12 de feb. Es una devoción popular
y nuestra oportunidad de encontrar al Señor, escucharlo y

The 40 hours of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament:
Monday 10th—8:30 am Mass, followed by Exposition
and guided Eucharistic Adoration until 11 am. Tuesday
11th—3:00—6:15 pm Exposition and Personal Adoration;
7:00—9:00 pm Prayer for Vocations, guided by Parish
Groups. Wednesday 12th: 8:00 am Mass, followed by
Exposition, ending with a Solemn Blessing at 6:00 pm.
World Day of the Sick, Archbishop Miller will celebrate a
Mass of Anointing on Tuesday, Feb 11th at 11:00 am at
OLS Church.
The sacrament of anointing of the sick will be
administered to those with a serious sickness or old age
& desire to receive it. Refreshments will be served after
the Mass in the parish hall. Your cooperation in bringing
some goodies - sweets is much appreciated. Everyone is
welcome to attend.
Vocation Live-In for boys: On the weekend of Feb 14-16
for young men interested in the priesthood or the

ONE CONFERENCE: This year’s theme is One Faith, One
Body, One Mission. It will be on Saturday, Feb 15, from 9
am to 5 pm, at The Vancouver Convention Center —999
Canada Place. Four speakers will cultivate, inspire & unite
leadership for the mission for our archdiocese.

Jornada Mundial de Oración por los Enfermos: El
Arzobispo Miller presidirá la Eucaristía en la que
tendremos la Unción de los Enfermos el día martes 11 de
feb a las 11 am en esta parroquia.
El Sacramento de la Unción será administrado a
quienes por seria enfermedad o ancianidad deseen
recibirlo. Habrá bebidas y botanas para compartir.
