CONFECCIÓN Y REMATE
Doblar el bolso = hacer llegar el inicio del bolso hasta los
3 p. cerrados en cada lado y coser 37 cm. uniendo los
lados para formar el bolso, quedan 34 cm. sueltos (= con
la raya col. fucsia) que corresponden a la tapa del bolso.
Con la aguja de ganchillo nº 6 mm. y col. berenjena 21,
trab. alrededor de la tapa del bolso 1 vta a p. bajo de la
siguiente manera: empezar en un lado de la tapa, después
de los 3 p. cerrados, trab. 23 p. bajos sobre un lado de
la tapa, 27 p. bajos sobre el final de la tapa y 23 p. bajos
sobre el otro lado de la tapa hasta llegar a los 3 p. cerrados
y trab. encima 1 vta a p. cangrejo. Cortar el hilo y rematar.
Con la aguja de ganchillo nº 6 mm. y col. berenjena 21,
trab. sobre el inicio del bolso (ahora es la parte superior de
la parte delantera del bolso) 1 vta a p. bajo (= 34 p. bajos) y
trab. encima 1 vta a p. cangrejo. Cortar el hilo y rematar.
Con la aguja de ganchillo nº 6 mm. y col. berenjena 21,
trab. sobre el lado más largo del asa 1 vta a p. bajo (= 64 p.
bajos) y trab. encima 1 vta a p. cangrejo. Cortar el hilo y
rematar. Hacer lo mismo sobre el otro lado largo del asa.
Coser cada extremo del asa por el interior encima de cada
costura lateral del bolso.
NOTA: lavar en la lavadora a 40º con un programa largo.

Using eggplant, cast on 55 sts.
Work Stockinette St.
When piece measures 29 1/8” (74cm), bind/cast off at
each edge 3 sts: [49 sts] Continue even in Stockinette St.
When piece measures 40 1/8” (102cm), change to fuchsia
and work Stockinette St until piece measures 42 1/2”
(108cm); then bind/cast off.
Handle:
Using eggplant, cast on 7 sts
Work Stockinette St for 39 3/8” (100cm); then bind/cast
off.

FINISHING (MAKING UP)
Fold cast on edge up for 14 1/2” (37cm), then sew side
seams, leaving top 13 3/8” (34cm) open for flap.
Using eggplant with crochet hook, work 1 row single
crochet around flap edges as follows:
Starting after 3 bound off sts at one side of flap, work
23 sc evenly spaced across, 27 sc evenly spaced across
front edge of flap, and 23 sc evenly spaced across other
side of flap to 3 bound off sts; then work 1 row Backwards
Crochet. Fasten off and weave in all ends.
Using eggplant with crochet hook, work 1 row of 34 sc
evenly spaced along cast on edge of purse; then work
1 row Backwards Crochet. Fasten off and weave in all
ends.
Using eggplant with crochet hook, work 1 row of 64 sc
evenly spaced along each side of handle; then work 1 row
Backwards Crochet. Fasten off and weave in all ends.
Sew ends of handles to inside of each side seam of purse.
